I am obsessed with carbon fiber

Also obsessed. Sage 1, Caly 3, "R", Chaparral, Balance. Lum Chinese Folder on the way. Hoping to pick up a Gayle Bradley and a Caly 3.5 soon and would love to find a Stretch at some point.

Won't be buying one anytime soon but I do have my eye on the Caly 3.5 in ZDP as a backup to my VG10. If I remember right the ZDP model has CF scales. Just really like the design and ergonomics. Can backup as a gentleman's folder as well.

One more CF-handled knife that hasn't been mentioned is the Bob Terzuola slip-it. It is a really cool design - and you might want to pick one up before they go out of stock. I ended up sanding off the little lanyard fob attachment on the end - it kept digging into my palm.

What the heck is that?!?!?! It looks awesome and I've never seen it before.

Also, I would be remiss if I did not point out that Spyderco is coming out with an all new Carbon Fiber (Peel Ply) Native with CPM 110V steel!

That is a Tim Zowada C56CF.

That s110v Native is gonna be the tits.

seelow123 is right on the money. I really like the looks of this knife, a little bit heavy but very but nicely made.

Do you really think it's worth it? I've been going back and forth over this knife for months to be honest. I love the design and the CF. But some have criticized the difficulty of opening, and I am not a slip joint fan by any means. So, I really want it, but can't bring myself to order it. Care to persuade me?

I just ordered this Caly 3 damascus. Can't stand the wait. It will be my very first Spydie. I'm psyched.

I am currently carrying the Caly 3 Damascus with CF scales and bolsters. The CF is smooth on this one. It depends on your preference with regard to CF because of the multitude of textures and weave patterns.

Fantastic looking knife, although the lanyard thing is goofy looking... but you fixed that :)

I had a Sage 1 but ended up selling it to get a Gayle Bradley. I like the size better on the Bradley. I'd love a CF Para 2 or the Caly 3.5.

I just got this awesome CF/Damascus Caly 3 in today.
These aren't my pics but it's my exact knife. Got these from the man I traded with.

Just to feed the obsession a little more. :D

I dont think I could buy a sage or gb knowing that its not solid carbon fiber but a thin layer on top of g10 not a big deal still looks great but it bugs me so Iam saving up for a para 2 in carbon fiber it may take a few months but but that knife is freakin awesome.

I personally find the textured feel of the CF on the Sage 1 and GB preferable. But to each their own of course. I'd also love to have the cf para2. :)

There are slabs of CF behind the Nanocyl on this one - does that count:)

You can just barely make out the CF as sort of a liner in the last pic

The fact that it's not solid CF doesn't cause any issues for me. I love the texture and look and feel it adds. Plus it's durable, so since it being layered doesn't effect the knife in any negative way and adds a feeling/look I like, I'll go with it. =]
That's just me though.

But I do love the smooth and beautiful CF on this Caly 3. Thanks for the compliment Chris. It's even more beautiful in person. It's a factory second but that doesn't bother me at all.

Scout - I'm in love with that Pingo and have been since you posted it.
If you ever let it go, I call first lol.
