in april i sent someone about 5k in busse knives for sheathes and i dont have my knives or sheathes and i have sent way to many emails.....

Yeah! No doubt....what the hell are you talking about tsiloics???:confused:

I mean I'm sorry to hear the VTW is going through some crap again with somebody....hope things work out VTW....but tsiloics to make a statement as broad as that, really needs to be defined and refined.

Personally the only issues that I may have had with makers has been my sorry ass not being patient enough. Not once have I had a deal go bad nor have I been treated poorly and I have always (yes always) gotten a good sheath. Some have been better than others but never have I received a sheath that was poor quality. Futhermore the rare time (once) that my order was wrong....the maker made good on it immediately.

This is my experience with several makers here on these forums. You might want to re-think how you worded that statement bro.....IMO, it ain't right.
 
I had a similar experience with a sheath maker, had a knife of mine for awhile, but in the end he made everything good and I got one killer sheath out of the deal.

VTW I really hope it works out for you. If it's a maker from the forums I'm sure it will, good luck!
 
That sucks. Have you tried calling the person as suggested? Were there any responses to emails with time estimates?

Every Sheath maker that is also a member of BFC are the very best. Not only is their work superb but they are honest and loaded with integrity.

Try the telephone..........................

If it is the same person that you have posted about several times since April, you know who can contact him. If you have actually tried normal channels, and you are talking about him, let me know. I have stated that I will help in the past.
 
In the thread you started where you were looking for him, he posted a reply on the 9th of this month that he had emailed you. Did he not explain what was going on?

i have sent countless emails and no response he emailed me two weeks ago and asked what address i wanted my knives shipped too..... but then nothing, never any explanation......... just silence

I think you have identified the person in my thread as Jason: Gravelface on here in my thread Seller Beware this really becoming a huge thing here with many members affected.
 
I was having very good communication with him again until this thread popped up and I have tried calling him twice, to no avail. I was in the middle of trying to work a deal with him as well, and it has now fell through. I hope that all is well with him, but his health seems fragile with all the issues and surgeries lately.

If I hear from him, I will bring this up again and post here.
 
Didnt I read recently where he had some major problems with an infection in his injured leg? I think? Luckily the docs got the piece of metal in question.

My experiences with custom sheath makers has been anything but unpleasant. In fact, I have been so pleased that I am now getting my fourth custom sheath. This has nothing to do with the original posters problem, but I felt I had to post in rebuttal of the comment made by tsiloics.
