I have a hot, wonderfull, wife. But, I am screwed. I know have to go buy Jewlery. :o

A fewweeks ago, I came in from shootin Skeet with some coworkers, and was cleanin up my Mossberg 12ga her grandpa gifted me for my birthday. She was sittin on the couch and asked me if I liked the shotguns with 2 barrels. I said, ya I do, and that I would like to own one someday. I didnt think much of it.

Well, the wifey just got home and gave me a valentines day gift early, because she said she was too exited to wait. This is what she got me.

I am blown away. Ive always wanted a stagecoach gun. They are cool, and you cant help but feel like a badass when you are holding it.

Im gonna take this one on camping trips and use it for home defense. Its really cool, and looks like it will be alot of fun. Its a Stoeger. Ive never heard of the company, but it appears to be really nice, and fit together well. She called my "gun guy" and asked if he had anything. Well, she picked this one because it looked like the gun from kill bill that he shot her full of rock salt with. (she loves that movie ;))

So. Now im screwed. I cant shop for jewlery. I suck at it. Oh well. She is definatly worth it.

Anyone have one of these? Perform good in the woods?

I have one in 20, handy little gun. Helped a friend of my dad's put up a fence and he paid me with the gun, I would have been happy with a good meal and a cold beer. ;)

BTW I think you are screwed, women are damn hard to buy for. :D Chris

I don't know about woods performace, but they will stop bar fights extremely fast !!! don't ask me how I know :D

That is an awsome gift !!!

It feels like a really well made gun. I have always liked these things. Just downright badass.

Alright man! Talk about an ace, hang on to that wife!!! Stoegers are really very nice, I know several folks with them. Great scatterguns.

ooohh... that is a nice gun J.. nice score... i wish my wife would bring me home a rifle...:o

PS- I think your wife actually made my wife angry, I told her about this and she somehow she got angry... at me....

That looks almost exactly like mine. I have the Stoeger Uplander with a 26" barrel in 12g. I use mine mainly for dove, trap and skeet and sporting clays. Its a great little gun and usually can be picked up for a good price. I especially like mine because of the barrel length, it lets me walk easily in cover and I get a fast swing on targets.

IIFC, Stoeger is made by Berretta. I have had mine for about 5 years and never had any problems with it.

Benifits of a country girl I guess..:D

Thanks bro. Its a sweet one. I am gonna go kill some melons with it this weekend. :D

Hey Will, I got a box from you today FYI.

Hmm. Good to know!! Thanks bro!

26 is a great length for birds and skeet. Thats what my mossberg is...

I don't know if Beretta makes them but I know they were bought by them a few years back ;) I think Stoegers are made in a different country but they are good guns. My father in law uses one for sporting clays and loves it! No problems either! If I recall correct his is made in turkey. Nice score! You had better get her something very nice! Good luck :D

From Stoegers website:
"In the 1990s, the Stoeger company was purchased by Finnish rifle manufacturer Sako. In 2000, Sako was acquired by Beretta Holding S.p.A. At that time, Stoeger Industries was placed under the ownership of Benelli USA, where it remains today as a member of the Benelli USA family of companies.
The technology and expertise of Benelli USA are integral to Stoeger’s manufacturing processes. And all Stoeger products enjoy a solid reputation for affordable quality."

Hey thanks man! I need to check out the website.

Mine was made in brazil.

Benneli tech huh? Thats gotta be good. They make nice shotguns.

That's a very nice shotgun:thumbup:
You're a lucky guy!

I have one like that in a 20.Not a Stoeger though. It's a Brazilian make...can't remember the name right now. It's so light,I've shot it one handed no problem.:D

My dad's got an old Parker Trojan 16Ga. Its a great gun and I've heard that they're fairly hard to get these days. We've gone on several pheasant hunting trips together and he's a good shot with it. He says one day it'll be mine!

I have one just like it. I couldn't resist buying it when I saw it. I was supposed to be helping a friend buy a shotgun. Ooops.

Nice gun, I've had my eye on one. Dunhams runs them on sale once in a while. But as far as getting her a gift goes, she employed the help of your friend to pick that you for you, why not call up one of her girlfriends and have her meet you somewhere to pick out some jewelry? Does she have a sister you could ask? If not, I dont think you can ever go wrong with something from Tiffany's, but you pay alot for that little blue box.
