i am sick and tired to the teeth of that makers playing the fool with knife fans

Damascus is awesome stuff. Beautiful and a throwback to forged blades of the past - yes, it is just as much art as function. I am not talking about the cheapo Pakistan stuff; but the quality blades made by makers here on BF and the ABS. As far as performance - I'd stand up it to most anything today. Many, many makers can grind a blade and slap on some handles (yea I know it's not that easy), but forging a dammy blade yourself - is something most makers can not do.

How could anyone be 'sick and tired of teeth' ?

They are critical, along with Saliva, as the initial step in breaking down the food we eat to survive.

This doesn't make any sense.....

i've seen posts of yours for a lil while now and it seems all you do is try to point out flaws of others. who hurt you?

I personally love good Damascus. A true authentic beauty that takes skill to make & finish. Certainly not a fad of any kind, nor going anywhere soon. Seeing as it's been around since about the 3rd century or so.

Now the cheep stuff, can be tossed off a cliff.

I've heard of more than a couple of maker's whose "damascus" was made by combining scrap metal; this can turn out just fine when done by experienced, established makers using known steel and sound technique.

On the other hand there's instances where I've heard the makers disclose they weren't really sure what went into the mix so buyer beware I guess...

These days, almost ANY steel probably has a moderate degree of "scrap" metal in it, especially if an electric arc furnace was involved. However, once the scrap is melted down, elements are then added to tailor the melted scrap to a specific chemistry, which is then lab tested and refined as needed.

Now, simply "pattern welding" scrap together is going to yield a much different result, as is the case with most Pakistani "Damascus" that seems to be flooding the market more and more.

I got the joke. I actually almost spit out my cigarette when I read that.

Less teeth is almost always good.
