I am thinking about getting a new knife, suggestions please.

Cold Steel was frowned upon by most people. I decided to find out for myself and bought a mini AK-47. I put this knife through the hardest tasks I could find while carrying it for several years. It never failed to do it's job. A few swipes on the strop brought the edge back to razor sharp. I have no problem recommending Cold Steel.

Indeed. People either love or hate CS. Those who hate are usually due to their marketing videos, not their products. Well, if only they would ignore the videos if they dislike em and not miss out on great blades...
