That's probably it, it is a nice looking MOTS, it reflects the light well, but... Frost on Case just doesn't seem right.
 
With all appologies to Blues and the other hard core traditionalists (some of these blades don't fit the forum rules), this is my EDC drawer, this is the decision that I face every day. The Benchmade 940 ALWAYS rides in the right front pocket, but the left front gets rotated almost every time. There is only one here that never gets carried. Almost all are carbon steel, the Old Timer 8OT was my dads, it rarely gets carried, the William Henry only on special occasions as well. It's a hard life, being a knife knut.

Hey fellow Nor-Calian! Yeah, all my GEC's have great stag, that Congress is a beauty though. Second only to the Toothpick, it feels great in the hand. All 4 blades took a very fine edge, and walk and talk with ease. We'll have to hook up some time and show off.

Very well-chosen collection I must say, those Teardrops and that Northfield Congress are admirable:thumbup: Have the Half Congress myself in stag and find it a boon in the pocket. Also liked that, Hoffritz? Talk about sunken joints, they were out of sight:D

would be cool if case would do a mountain dew and henry weinhardt rootbeer one. those are my favorite sodas. but coca cola now you can't go wrong with that ever..

It is nice.I've never owned a congress. Everything is right about that knife.
 
The Northfield half congress is a beauty too, it's on my list. And it's a loooong list!
