I bought a Gabon ebony inlay Sebenza 21

Knife art actually had one in stock with the reguar blade. The damascus blade i just wasnt sure about. Bladehq had a CF inlay with rain drop damascus for $616. I chose the ebony wood for a more traditional look.
Finally have a CRK. Already know its not getting carried or used much but I feel a crk needed to be in the collection. Guess I need to save for a shirogorov now.
 
Why not use it? I say carry it and use it, it's what it's meant for, after all it's only a Sebenza.
 
Guys its not that i dont want to use it. Its that the Wayfarer 247 I cant not take with me when i leave the house and the zt0450cf. Sebbie just has no room in the rotation. Wayfarer is not being replaced by anything.
 
You know Cabela's makes a 7 pocket pant. You could still add a couple before even going into a rotation :)

Congrats!! Any pics? I had a few and used them. I preferred my Manix 2, but you're not me do what you want brother. Oh you may need to save for something else like a ring 😜 As I understand it you have a girl 😜
 
Use it, you'll get a ding or a scratch eventually, might as well get it outta the way now. It makes a better knife than it does a paperweight.

A little over two months old, it's still it's honeymoon phase but it does go into it's slipcase and I do carry and use it everyday. I've even had to touch the edge up already but it does do more than look pretty.

Ok I'll stop buggin' you to use it, as we always say, your money, your knife but let me end with this, it's infinitely more enjoyable as a pocket knife than a piece of art IMHO and with that, enjoy it and post some pics when it comes.

Pics once I get it and yeah I have a girl lol. Marriage hasnt been brought up yet but its lingering in the background.
 
The Ebony just gives the Sebenza a classy look. It's probably my favorite wood inlay.
And yes, they're meant to be used. How could you not use such a gorgeous knife.

 
Every knife i have gets used. This one is no exception. I just wont be carrying it. Wayfarer i just cant put down.
 
It is the hardest to photograph too. :) Long exposures in diffused light should work, I'll have to try a homemade light box to capture what the eye sees but the camera can't capture.
