Photos I bought Cold Steel Tia Pan . Legit?

A before I in both Tai and Mai. ;)

No worries, all in good fun.

Busted, yes guilty.
Since this Tai Pan in San Mai is my new favorite knife, I finally have a good-nuff reason to remember that rule.
The longer this thread goes, the more I learn.
Thanks

Have a few Mai Tai's and it'll be all good...

Yes, it is the VG-10 San Mai version.
Plus the older box from before the sell of the company and it's adding up more legit as we continue.
I think the VG-10 San Mia will be more than adequate for my needs.
Maybe in the years to come, it will be unique enough that everyone will want one.
I think they show that VG-10 San Mia to be pretty good stuff. Maybe not 3V good, but still good enough, within reason, for anything a reasonable person might use the knife for.
How do you like yours?
Does it have the San Mai lamination line near the edge? Fakes typically won't have this. And the grinds will absolutely suck. Also, is the kray-ex handle softish and grippy? The fakes I've held use cheap, hard plastic instead.

Yes it has a beautiful lamination line .
The grind is a stunning work of art, so precise. That's a very difficult grind to produce, I would think .
Handle is just as it should be.
I wish I had two!
