I Can't Believe How Much I Love This Knife. Amazing. One of My Favorites.............

I love most everything about this knife. It is not a custom but it is probably as close as I will ever get.

For me it is my Shirogorov 95T M390. I have loved carrying this knife ever since I first got it.
Now I have a 96 with carbon fiber inlays and S90V, and it is also on it's way to being another favorite of mine.

But really, all of the knives that I still keep are that way. I love my Sebenza 25, my Grimsmo Norseman, my Diskin Fire, and my Blackheart Pike, which are the knives that I carry more than any others that I own, and I have never regetted getting any of them for a moment.

Kershaw shallot, perfect EDC for my home and office.

And SOG Tech II, it is just incredible.

Definitely the ZT 0392 for me. It is the "Hinderer" that I've always wanted.

Old picture, but I love the knife so it never gets old.

Spyderco Southard. Perfect size /blade ratio. Slim profile. Useful grind. Thick stock. It's my perfect EDC companion. A bit pricey but that what you get for premium steel, Ti and a hot young designer's name.

Why is it me that's baiting if you're the one who made a post in this thread whose entire purpose was to make a snide comment on my knife and how you didn't think it aligned with a comment I made in an entirely different thread? All I did from that point was give an earnest reply to your comment and ask for your input.

I have no problem with you attacking or making fun of what I like, in fact I welcome it. But why also accuse me of baiting and to say "I am not going to get into any further than that with you because I know exactly how its going to play out and I have no interest in arguing with you today." Why add those comments, especially if you're the one who took the time and effort to start this train of thought?

Again, Im not going to get into it with you. You dont have to like it, but you do have to accept it. Not getting into it means just that. Do I need to say it again?

This one for production pieces:

This one for custom pieces:

'indeed that is a good one, got one with mammoth handle

Why did they stop making them?

The Northwoods Fremont Jack is a traditional sleeveboard pattern pocket knife with a modified sheepsfoot blade that is large enough to really use. Though the 3.75" (closed) knife is stout and ready to work, the knife is nice and thin--sliding easily into your pocket. When open, the knife is 6.375" overall with a 2.5" blade.

The blade is made of superbly heat treated 1095 carbon steel, just like a traditional knife should be. It has steel liners, a crisp half stop and a good snap closed. The Northwoods signiture arrowhead shield is pinned in place. Of course the scales on these are covered in some of the most beautiful handle materials available.

Of the hundreds of folders that I have owned in the past 12 years, I only still carry three.

I carry my Microtech Socom Elite with carbon fiber inlays when I want a large, pointy blade that I could count on should I need to defend myself. It works great for EDC with its full size flat ground blade and lighting fast, impossibly smooth action. It just feels perfect in action and comfort, for me.

My all-rounder is my old large Sebenza that I've had for almost 10 years, now. The knife still fits together with the same staggering precision as day one. It really is incredible what CRK is able to accomplish with their production. I don't doubt that this knife could last 100 years of standard use and maitenence. It's not the best slicer or the fastest opener, but the quality is astounding.

When I want something born to cut, that is just built for what a knife does, I grab my Caly 3.5. I've always owned a Calypso in some format.I recently upgraded to the 3.5 because larger knives work better for me. The design is absolutely brilliant. As far as real use, nothing comes close how a Caly feels and slices. If they make the Caly in a 4 inch blade, I'll buy that, too. I have no use for small folders.

ZT0620, nothing else compares to this blade for me. Looking forward to trying out a Roadhouse when I can.

That's the first sebenza I've ever liked how it looks!

Thanks! My gal picked this one out for me, and I have only ever seen one or two others with the Vines pattern available anywhere. I'm sure they're out there, but they are rare for sure.

Here's the pic I took when I first got her:

This beat up and well used, but going ultra strong SMF;

I know, not much glam, but it really changed my perception of knives in general.

I had a couple of SnG's a few years ago, but my head was into customs, and I didn't give them much of chance before I sold them, along with everything else I owned that was production, to fund my need for custom knives....

I traded for this SMF.
I know the previous owner, and after listening to how great it was for months on end he decided he wanted to try an SnG with PD1, so this became available.
It started out as just an in between kinda play with it and sell or trade it knife.

Been in my pocket 24/7 since the day I got it, and it's not going anywhere.
I love this thing because it allowed me to do more with a single tool.
It Changed how I look at knives in general, and what type of knives I buy.

^ Nice knife & interesting story. Its funny how we end up sometimes where we think we wont.
I found out I'm not really a custom kind of guy. I want to baby those too much because of what you can spend on them. Had a PT which I sold to fund part of that custom. Should have kept the PT.

Lots of Umnumzaan love here but for good reason...
It's just simply AWESOME!! :D:D

I love most everything about this knife. It is not a custom but it is probably as close as I will ever get.

They are great aren't they? This one is mine. :)

Got it in January, and it's been my constant companion ever since.

This is its older brother.

Right now the zaan is #1, the Sebenza a close second for pocket time. Not that I want to give up any of my knives, but these two are the last that would leave my collection.

Answered this question many times one way or the other: Spyderco Military. Any flavor.

It was my first one-hand opening folder I bought and since then no other knife could kick it out of my right back-pocket (except other Millies). EDC'ing one for almost eight years now I think.

Also learned me (the expensive way) that unfortunately I carry solely and strictly tip-down.
