I have to confess, I strayed with another.
I had to have this ATS-34 trapper with awsome picked bone and acorn shield and flatgrind blades. Its a Case.

Maybe one day will have an opportunity to buy a Buck slippie with upgraded steel. I have suggested to the BCCI folks that a 307 in 154cm would be a "gotta have" for me. So maybe one day.

Don't feel alone there FL1963. I too am a Buck adulterer.

I carry my Hartsook everyday. But at this moment, I'm also carrying the third knife down in this pic.
A Cold Steel Ti-Lite w/ VG-1 steel and titanium handle.

You've been a very bad boy there, Gord. As penance, you need to buy another Buck as quickly as possible.

Well it did make me feel the need to go over to KnifeCenter and leave a glowing review for my Vantage Pro. Let's call that one Hail Mary.

Actually, I'm think of going ahead with a pre-order on the Paradigm™ Avid Folding Pocketknife Assisted 3-1/4" 13C26 Blade and Micarta Handles. My Vantage Avid was so sharp that I think I'll be total happy with that steel in the Paradigm.

Actually, I'm much more of a Randall person, so it's more like I'm committing adultery when I buy a Buck.

Ah, so many knives, so little time. Wish I could have one of everything.

I have more Bucks than any other brand, there's at least three of them on the desk right now. But I rarely carry one.

That's been in my pocket (with a Victorinox Soldier in the other pocket) every day for three and a half years.

I love my Bucks, I just don't carry them.

I know how that is. With the exception of my Buck Slipjoints they don’t get much carry time.

But more interesting is one knife for 3 years. That’s quite a long time. I’m stuck to a one week rotation

I lusted after that Benchmade until I finally broke down and bought it in January '06. It's been in my pocket every day since.

But the Victorinox Soldier in my other pocket has been there longer.

Going strong for six years. It's certainly not an old knife, but I'm attached to it.

Trax,

Here is the pics. Photobucket and my computer are finially talking.

for shame ,,,,
but if you are not married
and only 'date' a buck and others now and then
i guess it is ok..

"Cheated"? "Strayed"? "Adulterer"?

As a former president said; ""it depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is".

Today, my primary "is" my 110NS Damascus Ram.

Isn't it odd how he cheated with a knife that is almost an exact copy of the Buck 314........interesting says Dr. Sigmond

I'll come out of the closet myself so to speak. For several months now I've carried a Kershaw Onion/Centofante everywhere I go. I nearly always have a Buck of some kind on me, but the little Kershaw just really works for me for so many things. The great little pocket sheath clips right inside my jeans pocket and I LOVE the blade shape and the assisted opening.

If Buck offered something similar (hint, hint!), I'd carry it for sure, but for right now I never leave home without it.

In the beginning God created man and he saw that it wasnt good for him to be alone. So He created Buck knives(because the other creation talked too much:p) And He ordained that a man should leave his mother and father and join to the Buck knife and the two would be 1 flesh. Thou shalt have no other knife but Buck. Tsk tsk.

A lot Kershaw's newer offerings don't really interest me that much, but that Onion/Centofante has been one I've had my eye on for a long time.

I carry this Centofante collaboration from time to time, and it's an amazing slicer:

I've been looking at a Boker Wagner RBB lately, and even found one on Flea Bay for $40. But it's made in China, illegal for me to carry, and I need it like I need a hole in the head.

Which means I'll probably buy one any day now, of course.
