I couldn't wait for Jerry to make a FOLDER any longer........

Are you watching Jerry?

Now bring the folder!!!! Don't let someone else beat you to the punch. :)

Did mention that I'll take it?

Very nice work! Thanks a million for the details and transition photos!:thumbup: If you don’t mind, what was wrong with the ‘proto’ that didn’t work?

TIA,
Joe

Well, I didn't the look in the end of the handle, plus the blade didn't fall inside the handle with enough room to really put a backspacer in.

That's gorgeous!

Can you show us what she looks like fully closed?

Thanks,

Here is a picture closed (I forgot to add it to the original post). The little nub looks kind of like a flipper lever. I left it on for now as it helps with stiffening the micarta scale in that area when open. I can always grind it down later if I want.

Nice. I especially like the recycling of the handle scales (Ash1 standard by the looks?)

Nice.

I need to come up with some designs for my pieces of the BWM. I am thinking about pulling the scales off the handle part and putting them on another knife.

Very very nice. I personally would have preferred carbon fiber but I'm partial to it.

Dude you know the little hole in the little nub as you call it? The hole yet unused? You could drill a hole in the scales where you insert a pin to keep it locked in the open position. Will definitely work and will be very strong. The pin can be attached to a lanyard so you slot it in when you need it.
