I did it! I finally did it!

Congrats, but now comes the tough part … waiting!

Make sure you don't check the exchange every 20 minutes or you might end up buying something to keep you company while you wait. :-)

Congrats on your first Busse! The TGLB is a great knife, great choice! Be sure to post pics when you receive it.

Congrats ! Sounds like you picked a nice combo  It all starts with one, soon it turns into two and....... :):) lol.

Post some pics when you get it

One comment in the box was to have the entire amount owed on the knife to be taken out immediately so I know it is paid in full... and have the participating busse member's here on bf to autograph the cardboard sheath along with Norman Reedus lol...

Congrats on a Great Design....welcome to the Trough nose your way in and shoulder up with a GREAT Crowd....:D

Welcome welcome and congrats you have the same blade on order as I do.
it Starts with one, then as said above you start checking the exchange and buy another.... then you make the exchange your home page.... and its all over.... I'm up to 3 busses/kin in hand and one on order soon a 2nd....In less than a month.... But its a great compulsion. you will love it.

I wish I could afford to get another in the meantime while I wait, but I got bills and adult like responsibilities I have to take care of.... so in the meantime I'll have to dream about it and admire Daryl's on the walking dead.

I think that belonging to the group is more about the combination of interest, desire and involvement in the forum than in simple possession.

Buying is always tough in the beginning, you look at photos, listen to/read the stories but get little opportunity to hold/handle use the knives.

14 years ago, you also had an indeterminable wait (two weeks) that usually lasted 6 months to a year and sometimes two.

Nowdays, nearly instant gratification (two actual weeks) is a very real possibility.

Advice for when you receive your knife:

1- Remember, using a knife alters the appearance, This is supposed to happen, scratches, possible edge dings, Dare I say it? Even rust.

Do not get caught up with keeping the knife "Pretty" Every mark you get on your knife will have a story.

Have a little Fun with your knife, practice using it for different tasks, including Kitchen use.

Do no be afraid of your knife getting Dull, if you use it, it will happen, learn how to sharpen INFI
(it is a little different than steels you are already used to sharpening)

Oiling your knife is a good idea, it is not actually Stainless, wiping the blade at the end of a day of use does have merit.(there are those here who wax and polish their knives, it is not necessary)

You do not actually have to have a Diaper made of the softest cloth for a Baby's butt to rub your knife with.

Just ordered my first Busse! !!!😃

Am I one of you guys and gals now?

Also wasn't sure on what to put in the comment box so I got creative. ... guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens. ...

The comment box made me smile when I saw it. I'll see what I can do!

Ahh, I remember my first..... The gleaming customized Fbmle...... I still miss that beauty. I wonder where she is now.
