I dont carry a knife (everyone should see this)

So if you don't carry a knife the world will be saved and no murders will occurr.
 
Thats really ridiculous! To bad I can't mail them and wake them up! For me a knife is a tool, not a weapon.
 
What a joke. They should all wear helmets all the time, imagine how many lives would be saved if we all wore helmets.

I'm glad you don't carry a knife, you sound like the kind of person who would hurt yourself with it. Just take comfort in the fact that I carry three knives, in addition to my legal handgun, as does my wife. So that should balance things out a little bit.

So if I stop carrying a knife, I won't hear of any crimes or murders?
Funny that I hardly ever hear "Stabbing", but instead I hear "Shooting".
I'm not against guns in any way shape or form. I think guns are interesting and are actually a good thing to have. But I hear more about people being shot or beat than stabbed.

And since when do all of us carry a knife to protect ourselves? I carry knives to use them for every day use. I don't see them as a weapon but as a tool. I think the people who made that site and that support it need a reality check or maybe need to sit down and talk to the people here that carry a knife.

It's the idiots that go out there and use their tools the wrong way that get people to be afraid of them and give us so much flack for loving and carrying them.

I think he has everything spot on. He's 100% correct imo. My knife is a tool. Its for opening up letters and boxes. The 1911 is for opening up people. May not be the exact message hes trying to get across, but its what I see. His next website will be an analysis of what caliber is best for shooting scumbags in the face. Or hopefully he'll just end up shooting himself in the face

I sort of disagree with this. A lot of people have an irrational fear of knives despite never encountering a "knife-idiot" or a knife-wielding criminal. I think that "slasher"-movies have influenced more people to have an irrational fear of knives than all the real-life violence that they might have heard about on the news. But even still, I don't blame the movies for the irrational and ignorant fears that people allow to exist inside themselves. I believe that people are responsible for their own stupidity.

I opened your thread because of your thread title, thought you were on a knife site, but didn't carry a knife,lol.

Don't get so upset about it, and certainly don't let yourself explode:p Just be thankfull we live in a country where we have freedom of speech:thumbup:

Of course we all disagree with him, and most anyone would.
 
Note: UK site. The same fools who gave away their guns, and can get prosecuted for defending themselves in a home invastion from known felons.

I am glad I don't live in the UK, it sounds dangerous. If I visit again, I'm bringing guns to protect myself from all the knife carrying kids over there
 
This is the sort of lunacy I've come to expect from the UK. Seems like Mad Cow disease is much more dangerous than any of us thought....

But, on the other hand, youngs in UK are so scared, they carry knife to protect themself...

Dumbest crap I ever heard. What in the world do these people package things in? How do they open them? Is there no rope or string in England? Is there no tape? I mean, are people in England quick to cut one another up? Quicker than in the USA? I mean people get cut or stabbed in the USA but most criminals here are a little reticent to wield a knife lest their intended victim pull out a gun and shoot them dead with a .45! Perhaps the answer to Holly Watson's problem is to get everybody in England a nice, handy .38 revolver. That'll put a real serious dent into to knife crime right now.
 
Everything on that site is laughable. It's the text book definition of ignorant! I'm just glad that crap is in the UK and not here. I love the list of why people carry knives- half of it is stuff that I don't see a problem with (like carrying for SD, easy to get a hold of etc.) and the other half is total nonsense. I genuinely hope nothing like this is started stateside.
For protection, self defense, in case they were ever attacked and needed to protect themselves.
Because they are cheap and easy to get hold of.
Being brought up in a household where carrying a knife is acceptable.
To make themselves feel like a ‘top dog’ on the estate they live on.
To make people ‘respect’ them.
Because they are not able to have a fist fight, so they need a weapon for back-up.
Some people just carry knives for there own mental safety, they like to feel re-assured in their mind that they are safe.
Instilling fear in others.
So that they feel they can push themselves up the social ladder.
Some young children are forced to carry knives for the older gang members, as the police wouldn’t suspect a 7 year old of carrying a knife.
Some people geniunely carry knives to hurt others with no other reason but to injure or maim another person.
Peer pressure.
 
I Like your comment about stupid people. Not only does this apply to this topic, but also with regards to other topics I will not mention here. Groups or organizations tend to deny or accept the others way or view because they simply are ignorant or not educated on the topic or both. Has been going on since time itself. Its just a cop out and a way for the masses to keep control via the use of fear. Some may know what I am speaking about. But, on a positive note, at least the website is based out of the Europe. Sorry Brothers
 
What......THE F**K!!!! In their incredibly dumb-ass knife bins it shows them throwing away kitchen knives. This is absolutely ridiculous, just because i have a chainsaw or a hammer people wont consider them a weapon until they are used as one. So why the HELL do people do the same with knives? I use my knives as tools......period. Being a martial arts fan and practitioner i know that people can kill each other just as easily with beer bottle as they can a knife. People who wrote this article and the people gullible enough to follow them piss me off to no end.
