I don't see nearly enough pics of Nick Wheeler knives....

Easy to tell he isn't married isn't it. The wrinkled shirt told on ya Nick ------

An easier way is to notice that he is still smiling! ;) :D

Joe, Those are really nice! He makes a gorgeous knife, no doubt.

Now, Maybe Nick is smiling because he wakes up every morning beside a lovely, young beautiful lady that he's fortunate enough to call his wife. And each day, maybe she stands buy his side, catering to him for all his needs and encouraging him to make such beautiful knives and tells him that whatever makes him happy will make her happy.

I know that's how my wife acts towards me :barf: :barf: :barf: :D

RWS:
Actually, according to Nick, when this pic was taken at the NWKC Show in Puyallup last fall (?)... he wouldn't let me have the little personal bowie because it wasn't finished! The handle wasn't shiny enough, I guess... I couldn't tell 'till he invited me to pick it up when he was ready to finish it! LOL!!! He pointed out minute scratches in the handle and guard that I couldn't really see untill the light was right... Talk about a perfectionist! But it feels so lively in the hand and is simply nice to look at, too!! Now, I just need a nice IWB clipped leather sheath for it... Oh my... :D

Dylan... I'd have to look that up as I don't remember off hand... and since I'm still waiting for my "certificate of authenticity" (wink, wink;nudge,nudge... Hey Nick! help us out here buddy! ) LOL!!!!

If Nick is watching, I'm sure he can fill in the particulars... :D

PS: editing to add - I knew I had posted some of these before, but I don't know how to post a link to a previous thread... Check out the post titled "Wheeler's Winners" that I posted some months back... it has a post by Nick that tells the particulars of both of his knives that I have...

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.

There would be more pictures but I still have no digital camera or the skill to use one! :)

Joe's big fighter has a 1084 blade, plum browned 1084 guard/coin edged ferulle, and copper spacers, pin, lanyard liner and stabilized English walnut handle.

The small one is a san-mai blade (1084 core sandwiched between 1084/15N20/Pure Nickel damascus), 416 ss guard, and African Blackwood burl handle.

Thanks again :)
Nick, single and poor bladesmith ;)
