I got a knife confiscated today... (in Washington)

This is the relevant section of law.
or any knife having a blade which opens, or falls, or is ejected into position by the force of gravity, or by an outward, downward, or centrifugal thrust or movement;

Per my reading of the law it seems all my Spydercos and my Benchmade Griptilians are illegal in Wash. as I can pinch the blade and 'fling' or 'flick' them open through centrifugal force.

Am I reading this law correctly?
I think not, when you grab the blade,
the blade doesn't open/falls or eject into position,
the handle does all that, and it clearly says blade.
Kind of same like a flipper or thumb stud is not a button.

me no layer :)

I have 100% respect for all of our LEOs who do their jobs, but some of theese
jerks give the police a bad name.
If I were you Id do everything you could to get your knife back just to show
those pigs who abuse their power of duty that they are not above the law.

I would have deleted it if I could have -- but them ideas aren't regular.
A knife, a folding pocket knife, is not a weapon.
So you're walking with someone who has an illegal knife, it doesn't make your knife illegal by proximity, laws don't work like that.
