Did the forum posting have anything to do with the resolution, or was it due to other things? If you can't answer or choose not to answer, it's ok. This information might help some of us decide whether to use this kind of post in the future.

I don't know if the forums had anything to do with it or not. The individual claimed some trouble with the "bank" the money order was drawn against. Having worked for that "bank" in the past, I know they usually take much longer to clear up their messes than what this took, but anything is possible.
I wasn't expecting my previous post to trigger the outpouring of emotion or tiffs that some got into. If it was an improper use of the forum, I didn't hear from the moderator(s) about it. All other opinions are moot.
I don't like being the bad guy, but I'm not afraid to do it when I have to. I too am glad I didn't have to get ugly with anyone.
