I got my Allen Blade knife

Could be mispelling, doesn't it As Time passing by? I really don't know, someone who once said that my kind of post would have gotten the SOB went underground again, so I stopped, and all of a sudden, there is nothing better than telling the SOB that" would you pls fxxking showing up?"

hide behind keyboard? What on earth can you hide from? NoONE WHAT to do nothing to you, you have to face it. Show everybody the BLADE.

4 SCORES AND 7 YEARS AGO, have you ever heard of anything about this? have you ever tried to honor it?

He is apparently sending around word that he is going to part-time on knives and taking no new orders until he can catch up sometime in November.

This sounds like a good thing. If indeed the reason that he is going part time is so that he can catch up on his old orders, then there should be an end to this mess in the near future.

Glad to see that you're staying on top of this one...

Julimarc, glad to see that you're holding the course here too! I think it may have been in one of our emails that I mentioned that 'grinding' AB would probably be counter-productive to you guys receiving your knives...

Yes, I know this is a tough nut for every one involved, and thankfully my money isn't at risk here...

My point was, AB has been promising your knives for many years without delivery; yet has now publicly acknowledged his debt...(in the past, when AB was slammed publicly, he went underground, again, again, and again...only to resurface sometime later...)

So, if 'I' was due knives by this guy, I'd wait until 'after' he delivered, before I gave him hell publicly...or, I'd just write off the loss, stop believing the BS, and give him hell 'right now', knowing that at that point I'd never see any knives from him, ever...

Ultimately, it's your choice...

Yes, it's a tough nut for sure...but, the man said he'd make good, and he 'is' delivering knives...that said, you guys have waited nearly 3 years...so what's 3 more days, or even weeks at this point?

Mel

p.s. I firmly feel that AB is a class 'A' storyteller, yet still wish you guys all the best...and prompt delivery of that what is owed!

I hope Allan doesn't mind my posting an email he just sent me. It is just that I figured it would be best for people to read it first hand than to have me paraphrase it.

Blade Cutlery Studios is not currently accepting any more orders for knives at this time. My backlog of current orders, which includes paid and or ordered knives, and a few back logged knives will take until mid November of 2004 to complete. I will not be accepting new orders until the end of November 2004.

All current Pre - Paid orders are being worked on currently, All other orders I have had to increase delivery times by 3 weeks.

This is Due in fact to my having to now work at a full time day job and to have to work on knives at night and weekends. I have no option right now but to not take any further orders.

Also as of May 8th , my new contact email for my knife business will be bladecutlery@comcast.net , if you have sent email inquires to the previous email please make a note of the new email and resend. Or if you are inquiring about an order already placed.

I will still from time to time have individual knives from overruns of orders i am working on available on my web page at, www.bladecutlery.com .

Thanks for the understanding as I felt it would be best to let everyone know than to make my customers upset by not communicating the fact.

Any Questions at all or inquires please email.

Regards, Allan Blade

Hey, guys. What is the lattest news? Does anyone receive pre-paid knives from AB? Or we have to wait to november to see what will happen. :(

Hi Keith,
Just got one email from the maker said he will ship some knives to Taiwan in the next week.
Looks like he can keep his words this time. Great news for all of us.
When the knives show up, I'll post again.

Thanks for asking keith,
Joe
