I gotta start doing these again...

Hey Will, the white one is mine too :D... I cut my wedding cake with one of the swedged ones (s35vn).

Funny, when I first saw the trailing pins I thought about a golf ball making a full turn of the cup before dropping in for an eagle. I guess I had Rory's performance in mind based on the two eagles he scored in the British Open yesterday.

You definitely know how to get our juices flowing Andy......."get er done" as the man would say !

Not too sure why someone would dislike the idea of the trinity pin-out. I'm going to bet that for every one person that dislikes, there are ten that do!

I remember seeing those up for grabs way back. Especially the the first one; I had forgotten the fade out ones. I thought they looked quite sharp when i first saw them and thought it was a great idea with so many possibilities! Having the 'color pins and then the shiny pins with a mosaic pin... very nice!!!!!!!!

I think it would depend on scale color vs pin color. Some configs look like bad wood or blems on the micarta. Otherwise I like it. We're all stargazers at times and those patterns remind me of constellations

The bullseye is like a large pin. What about decreasing diameter pins from the bullseye diameter out from the bullseye into the scale? Linear, curved, swirl, whatever. Multiple ways you could work with that one idea.

S35VN you say? That's like my perfect Bushfinger then. And you have two? Andy, if you ever think of making another stainless swedge please let me know; Bushfinger or Kephart.

Those are going to look great on the new Palmer II !! :single_eye:

Moon phases would be neat too. Big pins! Okay I'm getting crazy now. It's nap time

This was the first one. It had disapearing pins that swirled down the hole the Bullseye went through.

I believe I told you a time or two before how awesome this is.

I love the pin out on that first one, the Duke? But really like the one on that white Bushfinger as well!

Andy, I know you'd been talking about a silver wire inlay a few months back in the knife makers forum. Did anything ever come of that? I saw a file worked knife that you did a couple of days ago. It actually made me like file work for the first time. I'd love to see what you could do with some scrolling silver.

Andy, I like when you mix it up with the pins. IE Change there location, make them random, disappearing etc. Have fun with the pins, is my vote.

Love the idea Andy. They remind me of shooting stars or the brass pins in native American knives and hawks.
