Funny, I have no serious plans for new blades this year and I am fine with that. As a mater of fact, I was not planning to purchase any knives this year at all.

Then I picked up a few SAKs to put in different gear bags.

Once upon a time in the west....
I was "obsessed" with knives.
One day, I had three incoming knives in my mail-box...for about $900.00
My standard monthly credit card bill, for knives, was around $1500.00.
I had a rough time trying to pay the 20% interest on the charges....much less, to pay what I owed.
My monthly "knife-allowance" at the time was 100 bux/mth, so ended up selling other goodies to play
catch up.
That little "problem" played havoc with my marriage as well as my nerves. I did learn to slow wayyyy
down....but just in time.
My best advice...don't buy beyond what you have in cash to pay for it.
This can be a fine hobby...just be careful...

Not sure how long "soon enough" is...I sold the bulk of my CRK collection about 8-10 yrs ago; prices really haven't changed much at all...

Oh man do I feel the same way right about now! After my latest purchase, I need to cut myself off for a while. Yes, pun intended.

And it's bad enough that I had to purchase a mechanics tool chest to hold all the knives I've bought over the last 2 months.. If that tells you anything

Just ordered a used Kershaw myself. That makes four knives in three months.

Considering that I have had no “serious plans” to purchase any new knives in 2021, I have been very busy.
