I guess I got carried away this month.

My last knife of 2020 was a black friday sale. Then I bought a Millie in january, then another one in february and a Native this month. Hoping to buy a Native Chief, a fluted CF Native and the latest Chap next this year. One new knife a month is a nice rhythm financially and emotionally. Each newcomer gets a full length honeymoon and undivided attention.

Bought 8 twosuns in January....
Then this month i ordered a TRC south pole, a mini bugout off the exchange for my wife and just put in an order for a winkler belt knife...Im done for a while...

Two knives thus far, but they were for a special occasion. No plans for the rest of the year, re-allocating towards gun stuff currently. My birthday is in two weeks, so depending on if I get any monet, I might buy a Civivi or something inexpensive. If I happen to come across a custom medium Tighe Rod, well, who knows what might happen...

I have already purchased 10 knives in 2021 for a total cost of about $1,700. Purchased 28 knives for about $5,500 in 2020.

I know because I just started logging my purchases into a spreadsheet to find out exactly what I spent in the past and am currently spending on knives. I still have to create the spreadsheets for 2018 and 2019, when I bought most of the knives that I currently own, which could reveal some startling numbers.

This won't stop me from buying more knives if I want them but going thru this process has caused me to think about which knives I really want to keep and to begin separating out knives those that I should sell.

However, there are only 9 knives (out of over 405 knives currently listed in my collection) on my sell list.

LOL! ;)

2 Medfords a hinderer, arius and zwear. I’m donzo. We can do this. Stay strong.

I've got two knives inbound for Monday:
- Hinderer Eklipse Tri-way swedged spear (I REALLY didn't want to do it)
- TRM Atom (I already have one but I ordered this one first so I approved the invoice)
You see? Irrational motivation at it's finest.

That’s a great collection you’ve amassed so far. Enjoy them.

Oh and, you need some fixed blades.:D

Well..... money is going to be tight because loss of work this year.
Also I find that I have my favorites; five or six knives I really like and carry.
There is one benchmade I am interested in BM Mini Osborne, that I would buy and use.
Although it will be when I have $175 to spend without any reservations. Maybe later this year........

I had the DLT Hinderer Eklipse in my cart a few times and didn’t pull the trigger. Would have been my first Hinderer. I really liked the blade profile. I emailed DLT and they said they should be getting some more of their no choil XM-18 3.5” slicers in the next few months so I’ll probably snag one of those.
