I hate waiting!

Hey Bob, Günter makes awesome knives!

The pictures I've seen of his work have all been amazing. I just want to get my greedy little hands on one of my own! :D

I have no doubt that this will be worth waiting for. I'm just not good at it...

Oh, I wasn't forgetting... :D I just wasn't counting those as "knives".

The Bitteroots delay,, may be because of me....

Actually the ones I'm waiting for have not been delayed. At least not yet. :) The Talonite Bitteroots are due soon, but not for another week or two.

I heard elsewhere that you've had some tendonitis. As much as I'd love to get everything a soon as possible, it is certainly not worth risking your health over. Take care of yourself!

Hey Bob...

LOL.. I'm just teasing ya..:)

They left today,,so keep an eye out....

Yaa as far as the tendonitus goes.. Yaa it really sucks..I've never had problems with my arms until recently...

Actually I'm looking at it from a different point of view.. It's going to take my business to a new level, as I'm drawing up plans for a semi automatic press, using a power ram, which will be foot controlled... This will save time and keep my hands free..

Now the only thing I'll have to worry about is getting my arm trapped in the press..:)
Which BTW has happened before.. LMAO...

Thanks for the concern...

Ahh, the wait was over quickly. Only an hour after I originally posted in this thread I drove over to Frank's shop and picked up a Extrema Ratio Harpoon. Now if only there was a store that had every custom and factory knife I wanted in it nearby. :D And at seriously reduced prices. ;)

I'm glad you've been able to make something positive out of this! And we'll all benefit if you're able to boost your production. I wish you all possible success!

Bob Q - did you have to remind me? I was cruising the forums to get my mind off of the wait. 2 being built by CRK. I have tried to quench my "thirst" by buying 4 production folders in the meantime. 2 in the mail as I speak. They are great, but, the CRKs will calm me down for a while.

BTW - you have some awesome cutlery coming your way, so I don't feel too bad for you.

;)

got my 42SS today.

Waiting for knives and Busses are so synonymous that even Jerry Busse jokes around with us about the mythical "two weeks" that every knife takes to reach its home. Two weeks is a magical length of time that, in the world of Busse Combat, could mean anything from months to a real world two weeks.

Most of the hardcore Busse hogs fight this long waiting period for knives by having multiple knives on order at any given time. And buying aftermarket. They order a knife, forget about it, and they get a steady stream of knives they ordered weeks/months ago.

I don't think I'll mind waiting for knives nearly so much now that I've got my first Busse. At least now I have something to play with whilst I wait.

As it stands, I've only got two bladed thingies coming that are not yet in my possession.

Waiting for a slip sheath and touch-up sharpening on my second market purchased Mad Dog MX Hunter. And waiting for Skunkworks to make two clips for the Ronin sheath, for a custom Ronin I got in trade. And last - waiting for a Desert Ironwood scale Terzuola ATCF. Lotsa waiting here.

My waits almost over!!!!!! Got the letter in the mail saying my Randall will be shipped...

I'm waitng for a Spyderco Endura PE VG10. It should be here in a few days. They never seem to get here fast enough. Maybe it's quick gratification thing spawned by microwave ovens and the internet. What we really need is a Star Trek type transporter to deliver our knives as soon as we pay for them. Of course that would only apply to production knives. We'd still have to wait for the customs. Oh well.

Some things are worth the wait ;)

hey cpirtle - are those Extrema Ratio folders?

How do you like 'em? Are they built well? I have been looking at the pictures and they definitely have me interested...

Yep - Nemesis and Fulcrum II D.

I like them a lot, very well made, extremely beefy and razor sharp right out of the box. Best packaging I have seen on a knife (ever) also.

If you are so inclined I would highly reccomend giving one a shot!

I'm on the Dominator list so I just sit here singing that old song that the are using in the ketcup ad " anticipation "

I'm currently waiting for 5 customs but I look at them as Christmas presents so when they do show up early, I figure, 'Man, that wasn't so long of a wait!' Fill the need for immediate gratification by visiting E-bay.:D :D
