  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I hate waiting!

if you are waiting ona blade from "Newt" make yourself comfortable....doing his best! guess times have been tough.

Yeah, I just passed the first anniversary of my "two week" order with Newt. I still believe that I will get them . . . eventually.

Just for fun, here is a rundown on my original post in June and the current status.

American Tomahawk Brend Hatchet in DiamondSteel: probably 4-6 weeks for a new run
They aren't even guessing about how long it will be any more. :(

Günter Böhlke custom: on schedule for August
Delayed a couple of weeks because the guy making the sheath was unreachable, but it has now been shipped!

Camillus Aftermath: release delayed from May but due any day...
I got mine in August.

Camillus Dominator: release delayed from May but due any day...
I got mine in September.

2 Newt Livesay TIT variants in titanium: delayed from last September
Still waiting.

Mid-Tech Rob Simonich Bitteroot in Talonite: probably 2-3 weeks
Delayed a few weeks, but I got mine in August.

Given all the variables involved in getting these things out the door I'd say I'm doing pretty well. And every one I've received has been well worth the wait! :D

All these times make my 2 week wait (so far) seem positively trivial.

I was talking to a guy on the phone this morning and he told me he's been waiting on a knife from one maker for 5 years!

Yep, you read it right - FIVE YEARS

He's sort of hoping he might get it in time to be buried with it.
