I have $200 what should I buy that will fit my needs?

I prefer the dangler type sheath in the woods. You can sit down and so forth and the knife stays out of the way.

Actually I have a Fallkniven F1 and I'm selling it to buy this new knife because I don't like VG-10. I had a Fallkniven A1 and the first day I was chopping some sticks with it and ended up with a nasty chip. I was like wtf and ever since I've been babying my F1 VG-10 lam because I don't want to chip it.

That seems very odd. The only incidents I've seen it heard of this happening was when people were battoning onto rocks, which is very I'll advised! Maybe a fluke?

The Terävä Jääkäripuukko, carbon steel might be a good "test drive" for you. I'm waiting for the sheaths to come in stock for the 140mm version myself. They ship out of Finland so, it might take a couple weeks to get to you though. ;)

Can't really argue with the price though, IMHO.

I'm in Texas, and it took me 6 days from order to delivery if that counts for anything.... I've been so impressed by their product that I've placed 5 separate orders with them now over this last year, all 5 seem to arrive in the same 6 day window.....

not saying this is the case for everyone, and that my results are typical ..... but that has been my experience to date...

FANTASTIC knives, I have commented MANY times that IF they had a stable supplier in the USA and the product were more accessable to the average Joe, they could charge easily double what they do for the knives, and they would still be a bargain in my humble opinion.... I'd not think twice about giving 120.00+ for a Scrama, and 100+ for the 110 and 140....without the sheaths....

Its hard to beat semi custom production knives made by the people who invented the knife style, and made specifically for Bushcraft/woodsmanship .....ESPECIALLY for their asking price.

I hate that I like them as much as I do.... I have many THOUSANDS of dollars of knives I have amassed, some worth 10+x what these sell for....which have been completely invalidated and regulated to safe queen status due to these knives..... it bothered me so much I started ordering just the blade blanks and rehandleing them myself with fancy materials just to appease the part of me that NEEDS something more..... pretty?..... but the truth is, as they are, they are still the best bushcraft knives I own....ugly rubber handle and all...

My last order from Lamnia took about a week to clear USA customs and a week to ship. Not as fast as my past orders from Japan. This assumes cheap shipping options are used.

If Varusteleka can get it to me in East Texas in ~6 days I will be very happy! I hope those sheaths show up quickly because I can't wait to get my hands on this knife.
