I have a 110 I sent in.

No, I'm just another happy customer.

I think you already insulted all the other people you mention.

:D

I have a 110 I sent in.
Tell us what's wrong with it??wtf you make knives and can't tell???

In that case my 110 is defective because the spring and switch are missing,
also helen forgot to drill the catch in the blade
.

p.s.say hi to J Stafford the person who scribbled for my 110

This thing keeps morphing so that an old Fa-t like me loses focus. The first post is quoted above. "springs, switches and blade catches," as a group, are found only in auto knives. Those items will not found in a BUCK factory made knife. Yet those items seemed to be the complaint requiring repair by Buck.

Then, in a more recent post, Werner 442 says, "Where did I ever say my knife had mods?A factory stock 110 was sent in for repair.

My confusion is now, what is, in fact, wrong with the factory stock 110 that was sent in.

Really, Werner 442, I am not flaming you, I really am confused, maybe you could clear it up and we can all be friends in Buck.

Werner,

Is your complaint that the 110 you have does not have an auto conversion done to it and that Buck won't perform one?

(note to mod, please delete this entire thread,it is a waste of bandwidth)

I am seriously considering deleting you for trolling.

* You disrupted another thread, sidetracking the discussion.
* Your complaint was clearly about a modified Buck 110, not a factory version.
* You have insulted one member after another here, throughout this thread.

This is a knife discussion forum, not Whine & Cheese. Straighten up or drop out.

He totally took over the discussion.

He actually implied he was putting you on his ignore list (after blaming you for his mess of a thread and then telling you to delete the whole thing).:D

Actually I blame the mod that twisted this tread out off context and started a new one,but i guess at least I know a few people add to my ignore list.

:eek::rolleyes:

Try putting a moderator on ignore. :)

I kinda figured it wasn't gonna happen.;) I did, however, find it incredibly insane (albeit quite humorous) for this person to blame his posts on you, threaten to put you on ignore, and then demand you delete the thread.:p Sounds like a reality check may be in store for the poor guy.

Awww, let him go on for awhile. It's pretty entertaining watching the guy make a fool and complete a** out of himself. :p:p:thumbup:

what i dont understand is the reason to convert a Buck to an auto anyway...if you want an autoknife, there are plenty of manufacturers that make them at reasonable prices. i will admit... i considered getting one awhile back since my weapons permit allows me to carry one, but decided against it quite simply due to the negative "vibe" theyd bring to a routine pullover by law enforcement. here in my county the LE has no problem with someone carrying a handgun legally(this is Iowa afterall), but i can just imagine the questions id get on why i need a "switchblade". every farmer in the county seems to carry a 110/112 but im yet to see one converted to an auto on their belt. why void the warranty on a knife that otherwise would last a lifetime?

It is on topic,I said that I sent in my 110 for warranty repair, and I plan on leaving feedback when it returns from service.I did not expect a bunch of
Buck shills to jump on me.Sorry for not bearing false witness.
If this site is any indication Buck is a less than holy institution.
Keep us posted on the status of your repair and ignore the shills trying to derail your post because they think they own the website.

:jerkit:

Probably better to deal with idiots at work than know-it -alls on knife websites.

Perhaps you should conduct yourself in a manner more appropriate. As a life long Minnesotan your disparaging comments are not inline with how 99% of the rest of us conduct ourselves. After reading your thread your comments and how you presented things were in fact quite misleading and thus the skepticism by other members here. There is no need to go off and act like a child set things straight and just carry on.

Maybe Werner is one of those Minnesotans who voted for Jesse Ventura and then tried to blame it on the moderator.

:D

It was split off a productive thread, with which it was interfering. Now it's a study of one individual, who persists in making himself look bad. Who am I to close off that opportunity?
