  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Recommendation? I have an itch (and an incredibly vague question)

As said earlier the rat 1 in d2 can be had from reputable dealers for like 33$ i have two great knifes, all spyderco knives are good but the ergos can be bad for me on some and great on others handle whatever you can at your store and pick the one you like best.

Used spyderco paramilitary 2 around $90 if to much kershaw knockout. If to much I don't know

Spyderco

Just an overall great company that will make you proud to own their products.

I currently EDC a Manix 2 with a Military on the side for fun.

Also look at the We Knife company budget line. They are amazing for what you get.

Pm2 is great and benchmade griptilian is great I know I own both

Also you made the mistake of going into a CRK thinking it would be just the best most stunning knife ever made but you must remember it's just a well made user knife nothing more nothing less it was designed to be a user not a stunner.

Having just gone through something very similar, and buying 10 knives in the last month, I'll throw my vote out there. My list includes many of what you noted in the first post. Out of all I bought, a Griptilian 550 was what I decided to bring when I went camping. Plastic handles and all. When I got home from the trip I put some new scales on.

With that, your range and your valid concern over plastic handles, you should seriously consider the Griptilian 550-1. The G10 handles will go a long way, and you get the CPM S20V blade upgrade. I certainly would have went this route if I knew how much I would like the Griptilian.

Or, get an S110V Spyderco Military for a larger knife AND a mini-Griptilian 555-1. Sweet!!!
