Still waiting on eBay to send the link via the resolution center so I can change feedback as promised . . . but what should I change it to, and what comment should I leave? Or should I just delete the feedback altogether? I promised to withdraw the negative feedback, but that is the extent of what was promised.

Dear royalstarknives,

Here's what we found for "Changing or removing Feedback"
Hello, tyr_shadowblade

We’re happy that you resolved the issue with royalstarknives.

Unfortunately we can’t change your Feedback in this case but you may leave a follow-up comment or suggest a feedback revision to royalstarknives.

If royalstarknives sends you a Feedback revision request you would have to accept it and complete the request within 10 days.

- tyr_shadowblade

Perhaps I should change the negative to neutral and provide a link to this thread in the comments? :D

NEVER screw a pirate on a knife deal.

You should leave the poor feedback. The seller misrepresented the item, jerked you around and in the end you only got a partial refund.

I always keep my word, even to liars and thieves, and I told him I would withdraw the negative feedback. I never promised anything other than that. I could leave no feedback or leave neutral feedback . . . but now he expects POSITIVE feedback. I am POSITIVE I will not be leaving positive feedback. I also have a 10 day deadline and never promised WHEN I would changed the feedback. Was considering stonewalling, but I think I need to ask him about this.

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

thanks for your support and guidance, i have sent request for feedback revision, please revise the feedback into positive,

- royalstarknives

Dear tyr_shadowblade,
royalstarknives is requesting that you revise the original Feedback you left for HAND MADE AWESOME STEEL BLADE PRUNING FOLDING KNIFE (AI-28) (171416116438).

Reason for request: The seller was able to resolve a problem you had with this transaction.

Message from the seller: buyer has agreed to revise the negative feedback as this happen due to misunderstanding.now issue resolved and you are requested to revise this feedback in positive.

Please respond by 8-September-2014

Dear royalstarknives,

Do you truly believe you deserve positive feedback after all this? Do you feel leaving positive feedback would be appropriate or even honest? After all, you sent a low quality replica of the item in the listing, then repeatedly accused me of: lying, cheating, damaging and tampering with the item, creating drama, being Godless, being unethical, and many other disrespectful things over the course of an entire week. I think you should apologize for what you said because it wasn't very nice or very professional.

- tyr_shadowblade

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

you know that all this resulted due to misunderstanding.honestly speaking this was not intentional.

i think apology already made and i once again seek apology for everything that cause tension between us,

- royalstarknives

Dear royalstarknives,

That wasn't very convincing. I am not sensing any expression of responsibility or remorse. And your current listings all have file photos and claim "you will receive same knife as shown in picture" which implies they are ordering that exact knife rather than another knife based on that pattern. Perhaps if you change the listings to state "you will receive similar knife to shown in picture" it would be more accurate.

- tyr_shadowblade

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

i agree with you.and will update app those post where i have similar knives in stock. actually these knives are handmade and made by same persons, but as these are handmade and due to this there might be chances of some kind of deficiency in it.i made these knives in bulk quantity as this is my hot sale item.however i will take care in future to avoid such type of error,
i request you now that please revise your feedback.

- royalstarknives

All his listings still read: "You will receive same knife as shown in picture."

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

hi sir, how are you?
waiting your reply, please revise the feedback. its request

- royalstarknives

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

hi sir,if you are reluctant to revise feedback in positive then its ok,

will you revise it neutral?i request you to revise it because it really hurting my business.

please revise it, its request

- royalstarknives

Tyr,
I look at it this way. Your integrity is worth more that the pittance you were compensated. Promise or no.
You were promised you would receive the actual pictured item you paid for. That's not what you got.
The next person that has to go thru what you did with this seller may not be as lucky as you.
Your feedback, negative, positive or neutral should reflect and explain the actual experience you had with this seller. You should do potential buyers the courtesy of warning them, if only at least to give them the opportunity to decide whether or not they want to take the chance in doing business with him.
He's playing the guilt game with you now. You/Your feedback is hurting his business. Not his actions which made you leave him poor feedback. The minute you give him courtesy or positive feedback, it will be on to the next sucker.

Oh, that . . . individual (family friendly forum) . . . shall certainly not be getting positive feedback. I am going to let that negative sit for a few more days so he can think about what he did. $25 DHL shipping with no insurance? He needs to pay for that.

The handle is upside- the fuck -down just by design.

"I have heard the quality of Pakistani knives has greatly improved in recent years"
Even IF that were true, crap can be improved and still be utter crap. Not sure why anyone would send any $$$ to Pakistan for any knife.

Fry the seller by any and all means necessary. He's still selling knives, folders included, with big bold red "You will receive same knife as shown in picture " prominently in his ads. You know that to be a lie. He deserves nothing but the worst possible feedback as he just wants to continue his scam.

Though you said you'd withdraw the feedback. I wouldn't. Saying you'd withdraw the feedback creates an integrity conundrum --- keeping your word to the thief or being honest in feedback already given. I know which I'd choose. Alternatively change your feedback to ---""Knife sent was not knife advertised. A very poorly constructed and very cheap fake sent. Did receive refund after much argument and involvement of eprey's resolution center. He's still pulling the same scam in other listings."

Did I read it wrong? I thought you said you'd reverse the feedback if he agreed to the terms that have been met. I'm not being a jerk btw, I really could have missed something (sorry, I'm a little busy). If you agreed to the terms, then you've painted yourself into a corner.

Dear tyr_shadowblade,

dear sir,i am waiting your reply, it is request that plz revise the feedback.if you not want to give positive then i request you to revise it in neutral, its my humble request

- royalstarknives

I never said I'd "reverse" the negative feedback, I said I'd withdraw it. After being forced to do so in order to get a partial refund, in violation of eBay rules.

Just changed feedback from negative to neutral, as agreed. Wanted to post a link to this thread as the comment, but was unable to do so.

"Sent replica of pictured item. Changed negative feedback to get partial refund."

Feedback was revised on Sep-02-14 11:58

Pakistans making bad knives? I'm sorry to hear that, looks like the Taliban will have to go some where else to get their knives. I really gotta post a review of this hand made folder I purchase in Afghanistan in 2008. Knifes so bad, and so hard it deploy.
