I have it on good authority that the Sandshark OTF is going back into production

I’ve not personally been a big fan of SOG knives but these past couple years they have stepped it up in a major way.I personally thought they had the most impressive lineup from the most recent ShotShow offerings.I personally liked the look of every knife they shown and they were all in S35VN..I’m really interested in their new Pentagon OTF,it looks like they’ve done a great job cutting the blade play that comes with the majority of OTFs..I currently have 4 OTFs,I started with the ridiculously cheap Lightning OTF because I thought OTFs were gimmicky but the cheap Lightning turned out to be more reliable than expected..then I bought a RavenCrest Tactical OTF for $70 before I knew they were rebranded DH Gate OTFs but it was still a step up from that Lightning OTF and gave me enough confidence in OTFs to fork out $300 for my Microtech Ultratech..then I also bought a Hogue Exploit which I personally like a little more than my Ultratech..with that being said,it’s been a while since I’ve bought an OTF and I’m about ready to get me another one..I will be considering this one and the SOG Pentagon OTF

Reading the OPs post was unbelievable from the get go. Vague refrences to a supposed company which has been part of the industry for a while and making an OTF in China, which in part of whole would technically be illegal her stateside, and big promises with a high price tag in the end that would rival most USA made OTFs. Sorry if my summary is a bit broad but that just sounds like a bunch of misinformed BS of a fantasy. To me any OTF out of China I can't see being priced in the range of a Hogue or Microtech no matter how good it is supposed to be.

Well No Limit Sells many of OTF’s in the same category as Microtech and Hogue, and in the same price range. With better materials and that perform better. Heck he just sold one of his designs to Spartan Knives at Bladeshow Atlanta. So yeah, your opinion is garbage and mute.

Moot**** if you’re going to be brash at least use the proper word.

Bwahaha, stop it. No Limit assembles China parts and is not in the same ballpark as Hogue or Microtech.

How much were the Sandsharks when they were first released? Were they a production model? For the price of a second hand one now, you are better off just getting a brand new custom G&G!

I paid $400 straight from the maker in 2002, sold in 2009 for $650.

They were what today would be called a mid tech. Jim Lozon was a machine shop owner who filled a need in a growing knife industry. Remember, his first otf was before MT's

Sorry to offend with my disbelief which more on topic is there any news on this project because the quieter this gets the more confident I am in my remarks which makes that little outburst toward them all the more amusing to me.
