Well I just pulled the trigger, My new Zaan will be here tomorrow

Thanks for helping me jump off the cliff guys

Thanks to UPS for having next day air for freaks that can't wait for anything

Way to go Rickster! I really love my umnumzaan. I did see the lanyard but hadn't caught the polished blade.
My response to mezeno was more to just say that the only differences are cosmetic. For instance it isn't a collaboration like the new Razionale so it should have everything a normal CRK folder has as it is IS a CRK knife.
I look forward to your thoughts on it when you get it.

TLR,
Update, The blade is not polished, Thats something Wilson must have assumed.
After I ordered it I talked to CRK and it has the same stonewashed finish as they all do. Wilson does not do one thing to the knife, They sell it just as they receive it from CRK. There only involvement in the knife is there StarTac design which came from there 1911 grips they market.

Concratulations Rick, It looks to be an awsome knife. I had thought about getting one also. Let us know what you think when it arrives !!!

Rick-

Sorry for the disappointment with the startac...You should dispose of it properly..Do you need my address again? :D

Bill

Well thanks to this thread it pushed me over the edge as well.:D

Are you going to pull the trigger? Or did you?

Actually they are a good deal because there only $29.95 more than the regular zaan. And they are a Unique Graphic's knife.

That is what got me - that and I love the pattern. Hopefully next up is inlaid and damascus Umnumzaans!

Man that is SICK...Damn, I just bought another Sebenza and the funds are low...I REALLY love the look of this zaan!

What a great country we live in, UPS picks up my new Startac Umnumzaan at Wilson Combat at 7:00 PM thursday night and at 10:45 AM friday its in my hands. Only in America guys. This could possibly be one of the best collaborations in the current knife industry. This one is the best of the best.
But really how could you possibly go wrong with mixing Chris Reeve with Wilson Combat. It opens like butter & locks up like a bank vault. Fit & finish is flawless. I have owned two other zaans but neither felt like this one. This might be a retarded statement but the scales on this knife feel considerably smaller than my two other zaans. It is hair popping sharp, I already nicked my right index finger with it while taking some pictures outside so its drawn its first blood. If anyone's in the market for a new zaan for $29.95 more than the regular zaan which is $400.00 this baby is a Home Run. I just may have to sell something else to order another one. Hahahaha

Those last pictures pushed me off the cliff and I had ordered one late today. I didn't want to but what can I do, I had to. I have always been a Sebenza carrier and did not want to switch but now is the time. I hear they have about 17 left but they plan on placing another order with Chris Reeve for another batch.
