Mr Glesser,

Thanks for the info, Spyderco Folders are my first choice in folders, thanks for all the great products your Company makes.

What will the collector Police have that the standard will not?

RickJ
The collector models are engraved with collector numbers and are sent to members of the Spyderco Collector Club... who get all of Spyderco's new models first. Aside from the engraved number, there is nothing different from a normal production model and the collector's numbered one.

You will have to contact Spyderco for details but I believe the arrangement is you sign up for the collector's club and specify the authorized dealer you wish to do business with. I believe the more popular online dealers are a part of this program.

i have a dealer in mind, but I'm more interested in knowing how much I will be paying for each piece, is it the MSRP or is the dealer free to set the price to whatever he wants to?

I think I saw a BG42 Police at a recent gun show (I think). I LOVE BG42 and should have picked it up (whatever model it was) We have this on gal in the Portland area who has practically everything Spyderco makes. I drool

Could it have been the Military instead? peel ply carbon fibre grips ( very, very comfortable) instead of the stainless of the Police model.

I've never heard of a BG42 police. I'd like one, but haven't heard of one. Joe
