I have to Ask! New Model Police Status?

The collector models are engraved with collector numbers and are sent to members of the Spyderco Collector Club... who get all of Spyderco's new models first. Aside from the engraved number, there is nothing different from a normal production model and the collector's numbered one.
Just one point of clairity: There are two types of Club, the all variations is the hefty burden of every blade made, and the other type is just the "main" version of each new design to come out during membership. Club members aren't always the first to receive new blades as dealers, mail times, and of course engraver issues can cause some releases to be months after the regular blade was available. ;)

The price paid is agreed upon between the buyer and their dealer. Most dealers charge whatever price they sell to the common riff raff, although I've read of some offering slightly better deals since the Collector Club is guaranteed sales.

Glad see this thread still around, still waiting for the Big Police to come out, Spyderco will be getting so much of my money.
