All should now be on ALERT as to your "unauthorized modifications" to your boxes. Should you ever sell or trade these knives you must make full disclosure to the fact that the seemingly original damaged boxes are nothing more than a rouse.

Though my boxes were only slightly crushed and bear only some creasing, they are original!

Oh man. I never knew that knife boxes could be so complicated. My first Emerson (mini-CQC 7B) should be arriving on Friday. I hope I get a genuine box. I will be so dissapointed otherwise.
Thanks all,
MAtt

My La Griffe showed up with a crushed box without special order...it's sure good to know that even the "little guy" out of the lineup comes well equipped from the factory...

Zantetuksen,

Yes...and yes! You will find we are a fun-loving bunch here. A lot of our sarcasm is rooted in other's often basesless criticisms of Emerson and his company.

Do not let this thread dissuade you from buying any Emerson knife. They are great.

Sarcastic? Who, me?

Well, I got my mini CQC-7 B yesterday and I am so dissapointed. I mean, the box isn't crushed, crunched or tattered! Of course, the knife is perfect and I love it, but for some reason, something feels wrong.
