I plan to do it this Saturday if my camera man is available. It will be very soon either way.

With your experiences What are you expecting out of this test...?
Are you going into this thinking that this is the end all blade when compared to the others you have tested... Or are you just going treat it like anything else and go over the results when concluded... That FFFBM is going to take some serious work to break in two...
Are you going to try and send it back to Busse for a new one??

Can't wait to see what happens.....

What would be a very interesting test is a FFBM vs. a CGFBM and see how much difference the "fat" makes  .

Oh and to see what the CBT might add to a CGFBM.

.

Good points. For example...

I am assuming that the FFBM will take more force to bend due to its thickness. How much more I have no idea. But I wonder if that extra thickness makes it less flexable so that it will not be able to bend as many degrees as the CG FBM.

thats pretty funny, you got the most tank like busse that was ever put into large production :D

that this is very nice looking as well. wish I still had mine...

Normally in a situation like this with other kives I might consider asking you to reconsider but since it is Busse..... all I can do is laugh. That thing could out live us and the roaches. Good luck with the testing and remember, all though some people will tell you you'll put your eye out you just respond: "Yeah, but I'm doing it with a Busse" :D

BTW: Noss4, I think you should send that red handled beauty to me and I'll send you my black micarta handled beast to test. A straight swap. ;)

I do not remember that color handle coming out. Did Skunk have a certain name for it?

Maybe that handle color is a "To Be Released at a later time" handle? Anyone?

I am curious as to how you actually plan to destroy it, those things are built like tanks.

Uncle_Jarvis: This is going be the heaviest, thickest, biggest blade yet. I have found out with many different knives and steels that they usually are not
fragile as some are made out to be. It takes extreme tasks to kill some of my test blades. This is the first time with any INFI, Busse blade so I do expect it to
be very, very tough and strong. I do expect a lot out of the FFBM Maybe even a survivor that out does me.

Elen: Yes it is .310" thick. Heavy duty

The red handles do look awesome on her.

aeinfantry: It will be put through all the usual tests I perform with the others. If it gets to the end in one piece then It is declared a survivor and I keep pushing it until the end. If there is an END :D

Poor Busse. :( That said, I'm interested in the results!
