I Just Got The FFBM In For The Destruction Test

Those slabs looks fantastic. How about you send em over here if you actually manage to destroy that beauty... :-D

Noss4, I'm looking forward to your destruction test :D

Those are some sweet handles..I don't think I have seen those before..

Depending on how long the test goes 1 hr or 4hr's. I'm assuming the later after seeing this this beast. it will take me a few days to get it ready for the internet.
It's a very time consuming process when there are multiple hours of video involved.

I just want to let everyone know this ahead of time.

Whatever happens and however long it goes you will see it.

aeinfantry: It will be put through all the usual tests I perform with the others. If it gets to the end in one piece then It is declared a survivor and I keep pushing it until the end. If there is an END :D

has a knife ever survived you:D if so which one

eastr77: The Scrap Yard Scraper 6 went through every test in my line up and survived mostly in one piece. It is the only one That I have declared a survivor. I finally did it in after the fact.

Noss: How close was the Strider in your tests.. That thing also took a lot of punishment and held up well... Too bad the camera died right b4 it broke.....

Like everyone else here is asking...What's with those slabs!!! I'll trade you:D:thumbup::thumbup:

I am assuming that the FFBM will take more force to bend due to its thickness. How much more I have no idea. But I wonder if that extra thickness makes it less flexable so that it will not be able to bend as many degrees as the CG FBM.

At the level of force that these blades require even to bend a little, I don't think it makes any notable difference between them.

just out of curiosity, why are you using a fatty for the destruction test and not a CGFBM? Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the knife in your field test a CGFBM? I only ask because I own a CGFBM and was hoping to see how it would hold up to your particular brand of extreme testing:thumbup:

Uncle_Jarvis: The Strider BT did well. It is up at the top. The testing line up was slightly different then compared to the later ones.

About the Red and black Slabs the knife was donated by Busse for the test. I don't know anything else about them other then they look great.

As a FLOOD of call and emails hit the Shop as we speak!:eek:

WVHILLS: No reason really it was just the one I was sent. Originally it was going to be a CGFBM but this was a year ago. They are not being made at this time. Yes I have 2 of them but I plan on keeping them for myself if I can.
