265# Vulcan that was found in its crate by the owner in the barn and comes with the stand. has the number 15 stamped on the base under the horn. $330+tax for everything and someone is supposed to pick it up by wednesday. the lady at the antique mall said that if the person didnt come to pick it up by wednesday that it will be for sale again. sad thing is im broke. but i wouldnt mind getting it for someone here if they sent me the money for the anvil and shipping if it goes back on sale. ill keep yall updated. the lady said that it had not been used but it looks like it might have been used just a tiny tiny bit.

i cant afford the anvil right now plus someone is supposed to be getting it by wednesday. if not ill let yall know so yall can send me the money for it and for me to ship it to yall.
 
i wonder how much i could get for pimping out IG? HEHEHEHEHE!!! ill try and find a way to make the money. i might even sell my custom haro bmx bike that is designed for offroading. paid $450 for it brand new.might just see if i can get $350 for it. anyone have a son that needs a bmx bike that can handle a 220lb guy doing jumps of about 5 feet in the air? :D

I could almost cover that, but the shipping up here would probably double the price.

Dude, I hope your bike sells or you raise the cash another way. That looks like one heck of an anvil.
 
im hoping the guy doesnt come back for it cause i really want that anvil. i just have to have 2 things happen. one is i sale my bike and get paid quickly and second is that the guy decides not to come get it. wish me luck. if you see a post saying im resting my back then you know i got it. HEHEHEHEHE!!!! i still dont know how i would get it out of my car.
 
If only it was like the workplace where you get an old jar where people drop a few pound in to cover coffee and the like...
If you flutter your eyelids and troll around with a bucket, rattling it, I'm sure you'd soon get enough together....to encourage this you could offer your railroad anvil to a new home should you get the vulcan,
I've lurked for a lil' while and the generosity of all members amazes me
 
bandera is 30 miles west of san antonio. your about 5 hours away. 3 if you break all traffic laws (dont do it, cops out here are evil :D). besides i lay claim to it first if i get the cash. HEHEHEHE!!!!

i will probably ask my neighbor or someone to help me so i do pull muscles in my back like i did when i was 14. i dont want to re-injure my back and not be able to use that anvil for a week.
 
But you'll never be respected till you have burnt all your fingers..trapped them in the vice...diced your knuckles on the grinder and injured your back.....never...not in this community..heh ;)
