Great knife/tool set though I do not believe I will be going any BIGGER. The "Climber" and the "Hiker" are near perfect for me though I am going to order a "Stayglow Huntsman" and a Red "Sentinel Clip" here pretty soon. Does anyone have the "Money Clip" SAK and could they post a photo of it??? Thanks all for the responses....

Hey Kev,
I've got the money clip SAK. It's the silver one in the 2nd row from top, maybe 2nd from right. It's the one with the long blade on top and scissors on bottom in the pic.
I'll try to take some better pics of it today and post them if you like.
BTW that's the StayGlow Huntsman at the top left of this pic also. The Huntsman is my fave SAK.

My fave and only one is the hiker that i got in trade from txtonydobbs. Great lil knife for sure. I would like to have a few others, name the the OHT PE and the Alox Farmer. Then i think i would be set.

One of the Charm of Vics is the bladeshape very useful in EDC utility... its thin, good slicer and pretty tough (the alox soldier definately tougher than 91mm cellidor)

but i wish we could got a SAK with VG10 or S30v steel main balde though... wont be as easy to sharpen like razor like the current steel though hehehe

the down side is moslty the 84mm and 91mm series (and all the alox soldier or farmer) isnt OHT able and non lockable... but who would fight with a SAKs? for daily utilities even the classic or rambler are doing 99% of my task just fine...

The fact that they don't lock or open one handed is what, IMO makes them accepted in a lot of places. People that don't like knives and would normally freak when seeing a one handed opening knife that locks into place, have no trouble with a humble pioneer or soldier, or even the bigger models with more tools.

meaning you can carry one practically anywhere.

I'd like to see a high end steel on the OHT, but the other models I'm fine with the steel that Victorinox uses.

A Victorinox Midnight Manager in Silver Tech is a permanent component of my EDC. The multitool and folder change depending on place and occasion, but the Midnight Manager is always with me at all times.

Congrats on your new SAK, I Love Alox SAK's

I recently added a OHT, the older style, its a great knife, almost all you need on a quick trip outdoors.

Ohhhh man. Old alox is the best. I have quite a few with the silver cross and brass liners. Still drooling over the elusive marlin spike. Check out the secret order as it is the only place for everything SAK. Great discussion with great people.

i love SAKS, and i want a farmer or one of the sort with a colored alox handle. (ex. blue, green, red, black.) how come i cant find one anywhere ??? i can't find any colored alox handled saks... where these a sprint run?

The colored Farmers are usually limited runs. I've got the silver, red, blue and custom HA III Farmer modded by Scibeer (before he apparently retired from modding SAKs) called the Stalker. It's basically the Farmer with scissors and mine also has the low-rider pocket clip.
I've been getting lots of PMs on various forums asking if I'd sell it but this one is a keeper for sure.
I got all my stock colored Farmers off Amazon. Swiss Bianco has a special very limited run of black scaled Farmers on right now but I had to pass on it.

Here are some more shots of mine for your viewing pleasure.
BTW Baba, were you ever able to get the modded SAK you were looking into?

Man I bought 3 blue farmers last December for $25 each. They are going through the roof now. Amazing to see what people will pay for alox, especially the older red ones with the big silver cross. The ones with the Marlin spike go for around $500. Amazing considering they make like 50000 a day.
