You might get away with loading primed .22 lr shells... But reloading wouldn't be practical, even if you had the tools to do it.
Even handloading primed shells takes specialized tools. No sir, it just ain't worth it. YMMV

Too bad i cant find one of those eagles nest double hammocks for trade that would be sweet.

LOL, yea thats why i look for the trades!!

Trying to figure out what to post for trade now... But since lots of people are at blade, and others are selling to buy the stuff coming from blade i doubt id get any bites tonight.... And its funner when your drunk HAHA

But im thinking i got a few users that arent get used anymore that might could find homes to be used at..... the Large vantage pro im not using now since i got the benchmade bone collector, and i got a condor 14" golok, and i got the rtak2 which is a sweet knife but it has taken a back seat since i got the giedymin... Maybe the vantage, plus the condor golok AND the RTAK2 might could trade for something cool all 3 for 1 thing, or one on one trades... who knows.

Lets take another shot of this nasty stuff now LMAO

Yeah, them big boolits are a whole mess of fun. Literally. Hickok has so many awesome videos. I just watched one about pot smoking. He shot some clay pots with a full auto mac-11. Then in another video he shot a pile of 200 2-liters with a while dual wielding MP40's.

I meant reload my own ammo in general since I can't supplement my shooting with .22 to offset the cost of the center fire stuff. And you actually can reload .22lr if you have too much time on your hands. You can make priming compound out of strike-anywhere matches. Heck you could probably recycle primers that way too, for some reason...
 
I have a very nice supply of .22 LR but I am still hesitant to shoot it since I dont have enough for my whole life and that of my 4 sons and who knows when or if it will be readily available again.

Yeah... The strike anywhere matches aren't a real smart way to go.... I've read about it, but I think unless it was a do or die situation it is foolish.

I'm not convinced it works all that well and sounds more like an act of desperation. I've even read some that have tried using the old primer material they used to use, mercuric fulmate, but that stuff is tricky and highly corrosive. That's a couple of reasons it's not used any more. Plus the old crimp has to be popped open. Like I said, special tools.

I can see no practical reason for it, and I believe most of the people saying they are doing it are full of male bovine fecal material.

Not really the same but i have used crushed match heads instead of black powder in my .30cal mini canon... It worked but not as well.
 
Today was a killer day at Blade. I gotta say I didnt expect to do as well as I did. Never realized that people out there really knew me. Its amazing, humbling and had a blast today, the day was busy, set up went smooth. Saw old friends and made new ones. James Terrio came by with his wife and they are always a joy to talk to, His wife Angie dropped off baked goods as well as a new Tennessee sweetshirt for me, bless her heart, keep a hold of that one James, shes a good one. E.J. Snyder from the Discovery channels naked and afraid came by and hung out. Dropped off a ton of shit for me and was great to catch up with him, he brought a huge portion of the other shows cast by and they where all cool cats to meet. It was great to see some good buddies, Moose, Ethan, Gus, Thorny, Tankerwolf, Cbear and some of there family members came by, and I gotta say, people like them make my hard work all worth it. Today, none of what I went through in the last 5 months meant anything. Today alone made it all worth it. Met some new friends, rkmoore came by and offered his help and hung out, whatta great dude he is, chewed the fat with him for a good while. As always the help I had was awesome. My wife, Murph, and Vik really made my life easy today and shouldered most of the work even though I didnt ask them to. Just a awesome day. We finished it off with a nice dinner at McCrays that has over 100 beers on tap, It was my treat for us all and my cousin and his fiancee. It was the least I could do and we all enjoyed it. Hes a pic right when we got our drinks, I give you guys one guess who was sitting to my immediate right.:rolleyes:
