I'm not much for trailing points, but plus 1 for stabby and slicey. Here's a couple that fill that bill for me.Stabby AND slicey is a winning combination. Hey, it's all what a knife is supposed to do. I love the trailing point and upswept patterns.

Drop point is the pattern that checks almost all boxes. A great allrounder. No wonder it's the pattern of most hunting knives.I'm not much for trailing points, but plus 1 for stabby and slicey. Here's a couple that fill that bill for me.
Daggers are certainly cool if you like knives, but they have little practical use other than to stab things. To me, pretty much all daggers are a disappointment for any slicer work, They have a Cool factor on my M1 etc.. other than that,, Ive never had to stab any people And I hope to avoid it
Or...
Old School, false-edge dagger grinds. Not at all slicey, but very stabby. Plus that ATS34 gets wicked sharp.
From the looks of these knives I have...I'm a step away from buying at the area jails..."You know who makes the best toothbrush shanks? Joey...you need one of his for your collection."
Any other fans of the shankariffic knives?
