I like the GEC acrylics

I think that some of those acrylics are gorgeous. I just haven't found the right acrylic design/knife pattern for me. If you want to see some more neat GEC acrylic love, do a search on "Bexley Cutting Edge" - a collaboration between GEC and the Bexley fountain pen company (who also uses some really awesome acrylics).

This thread is doing me no favors. I had to track down and pick up one of those "lava lamp" stockmen too.

XbXb's is a little nicer, but I'm assuming this one will be no slouch when it arrives.

Oh, and for the record, the springs on my "Orange Crush" moose have broken in a bit, and are manageable now. I love that knife. It's riding in a Sharpshooter "horizon" sheath on my belt right now. It's a stunna!

GAAAAHHHH!!!!

Did you HAVE to do that?!?!

Fountain pens are my new passion, I've bought more pens than knives this year...

I Do Not Need A Matched Set.... thats it... if I keep repeating that over and over...

*Sigh*

Oh Moon you found one, That's nice!! I'll bet you like it. Please let us know.

Finding that puppy took some doing. :D I'm fairly certain I got the last one on the retail market. I'm sure it will be nice. I've developed quite a soft spot for the #53 pattern. If the springs are like those on my "dead skunk" acrylic- I'll be psyched. :)

Moon great snag! to be honest acrylics never did much for me, but after seeing this thread I think I gotta own at least one:D and that one would definitely be a GEC 53 lavalamp!

While looking for a Lava Lamp I came across this. My first acrylic scaled knife, thought it would be my October carry:D GEC Northfield 53M Fall Harvest Muskrat from TSA. It has a very normal pull, which is a plus for a GEC.

I don't know whether it is acrylic, but the synthetic tortoise on my affordable Rough Rider looks really pretty nice:

Nice looking job there:thumbup: Tangs look reasonably concealed as well.

Damn. I keptstaring at that Lava Lampmand thinking art deco, and the friggin thing grew on me. So I had to get one. You guys are the devil.

I missed the lava lamps and I guess they are all gone, unless one comes up on secondary, which I doubt. I did get this one last year.

Is that "cat's cradle" acrylic? I think that's almost as nice as the "lava lamp". Good looking stuff there! The acrylic I'm currently super-secret stalking right now is the "kryptonite". I had a choice early on between the "dead skunk" and the "kryptonite"- and went with the former. Nowadays it seems like the "dead skunk" is much easier to find. Those kryptonite #53s went fast.
