Which do you favor, the big one or the little one?

I prefer the big one (the SRT). I feel that it is capable of just about any task, and it feels perfect in my hands (especially with the leather wrap).

How much do they weigh?

According to this video review, the SRT "almost weighs about 15oz", but I haven't weighed it, myself. I have no idea what the L.U.C.K weighs, but it is considerably less. You might want to look into the BushTool, also. It is almost an exact mid-point between the two I have. Here's a stock picture:

Its a good looking knife Boss.... the SRT is on my VERY short list.....I had always wanted the " Bushtool " but couldn't make myself pull the trigger on one as I prefer my knives to be just a touch larger....the SRT appears perfect for my wants and I was not aware of its existence till now.

to me it strikes me as a less gimmicky Tracker...

how good is the sheath though? is it decent quality as well? I know it LOOKS good, but is it something you'll end up replacing with better?

I'm worried that the leather sheath option will be less than ideal as supplied and that I'll want to have my own made as a custom anyway....making ordering it with the Kydex a better option so you end up with 1 wet weather sheath and 1 quality leather sheath rather than 2 leather sheaths and one of em only being good as a back up.....

anywho... enjoy it! I'd love to see some in use pics if you get a chance to fiddle with it.

Why can't the ulu and wsk just have a baby. Why did you feel the need to make it about rape? Also, we don't curse in general discussion, but crass rape references are OK? You should think before you speak, I found that very offensive.

Looks like a good chopper. You'll have to let us know how it handles more delicate tasks once you have more experience with it.

The sheath was made by JRE Leather, and is extremely good quality, imo. In the first video I posted, the reviewer speaks extensively about the sheath - check it out. :thumbup:

would love to but due to circumstances beyond my control LOL... my computer has no sound anymore... and sadly, its not an easy fix.... so videos are neat, but more like quick slideshows than actual video anymore =o(
