I lost my Murray Carter!!!!

I feel so sick to my stomach. I lost a Murray Carter necker last week!!! I've been trying to replay when I realized I lost it and where I last remember having it. I almost want to cry :(. I hope it will turn up somewhere I overlooked. Sigh!!!
 
Did you lose the entire kit, or did your knife drop out of the sheath? I lost a commissioned necker once, that was a drag!
 
Ouch. I feel you. All the best in finding it back.

First was a guy that lost a Hinderer. Then it was a guy that almost lost his Boss Street. Now it's a Murray Carter. Yikes. Hope you find it!
 
Oh nooooo!!! If i lived in Ohio i would help you look everywhere, I am so sorry brother man. Don't give up you will find it.
 
I would just take one of my other knives and end it all now! :eek:

Why? My wife would kill me anyway if I lost an expensive knife like that. :o:p

Happened to me too. And it was one of the 2%-ers that Murray deemed "as close to perfect as he can produce".

I know exactly how you feel.

Mine hid under the bed for about 2 months.

Try not to dwell on it. That only makes it worse. I knew I'd find mine sooner or later, and you will too.
 
Not trying to be a wise *ss, but how can you not feel or hear a knife falling off of your neck to the ground/floor/street? That's a long drop to not notice it. How do you think it happened?
 
dude that is a loss... I'd be frantic myself, Murry's knives are some of if not the best offerings out there IMO...

hope you find it somewhere around the house and turns out you never had it on you to lose in the first place...

I "lost" my Gossman UNK for half an hour recently, pulled everything out of rucksuck, pockets and tent. Felt sick to the stomach, but I did find it, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Yeah I lost my umnuzaan for about 4 weeks and then found it in a pair of pants that I had put up for the summer. Good luck!

I was at the doctor's office getting a check-up. I think this is where it happened. So, in order to not freak out all the staff, I put the sheath and knife in my front right pocket of my cargo shorts. I think it was lost there but the office stated that nobody has turned in a knife and none were found. Thanks for the words of encouragement everyone. I'm trying to stay positive.
 
I FOUND MY KNIFE!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) I was cleaning my car and found it wedged between the center counsel and the belt buckle. It just was staring at me. I am so happy I feel like crying. Thanks to everyone who was concerned with my dilema.
 
Glad to hear you found your knife !!

Centre console ( by belt buckle) is a black hole for knives. Seriously. I've dropped knives in there a lot over the years , especially folders popping off the pants from messing with the seat belt lock.

Great feeling finding a lost friend.
