I love it when I make a kydex sheath and when I am cleaning up and sanding the edges, that little sliver that gets between the 2 layers of kydex peels out and I have a nice, clean seam!

Totally hear you! Just went through a spree of frozen pipes that luckily thawed with no breaking. Needless to say when knife shop was -30 F I did not venture in to grind.

Expensive as it is, PEX pipe is nice to have for these situations.

-30F keeps the knife cool while grinding!

I love it when a knife gets the job done on bull elk without a touch up.
Gutted and quartered. Love it even more if it's a knife I made. All it needs is a strop...maybe a lick ot two on the steel.
Also love it when I fill the freezer with elk meat.
