I Love Satin Jacks.

An Old Hog returns!

Have you been lurking, Mike, or did someone tip you off to your name coming up? :D

Hope you can make it to one of our events this year, and bring some old stuff to show off.

I pop in from time to time. Don't have as much time as I used to for the forums. I pretty much check here, the Swamp and the Spyderco forums. But not that often.

Dunno if I can make an event. Depends on when and where.
If I can make it, I'll bring something. I haven't gotten rid of anything, so I still have a decent little collection. :D

I don't have any current pics or even pics of my whole collection. Some of my SJ's are posted on the first page of the thread by Mr. Porkerson.

Well, if you ever have any to get rid of, I'll be the first to say, "I'll take 'em!"

I would love some of those SHSJs in this thread. Great pics of a great knife. Keep them coming!

.

Here is my only SJ, but I love it! Thanks a million to the guy who hooked me up with it. I can't wait to put her to work. I think it will replace my Skinny ASH for deep woods backpacking. I want another!

So ... None of you Satin Jack collectors have managed to get a hold of my old Satin Jack, the one to rule them all?

No, no ... Part of the fun for them is the research – figuring out what I'm talking about, trying to track it down, etcetera. I don't want to spoil the fun for the serious collectors, by giving away too much.

The old timers, and the ones who've paid attention, know which one I'm talking about.

It's no longer in my possession, by the way. I had to sell it, a while back, to help pay off some massive medical debts.

My Mikey-Likes-It! recurved Satin Jack variant.

I have a fantastic Satin Jack variant, flat ground, with a recurved blade, Busse armored tip, a zero edge, and a serrated front spine, with flying handles, with snakeskin nukarta, and a satin finish. It's just about the best medium sized outdoor knife there is.

Very Nice :D

Okay let's see some pics!!!

I actually think my SJ Proto is pretty special, not one-to-rule-them-all special but more like.... Jerry's personal knife for a time special.

You really want me to do all the work for you?

It's the very first satin and snakeskin knife, by the way. :D

If you are there, I am gonna try.

I will be there indeed!

LeAnn and I will be there Thursday night , and leaving Sunday morning-ish, or whenever we wake up from the festivities at the fountain.

A great time awaits!! :p
