I Love Spyderco So Much That I...

Most of my folders are Spyderco because I just prefer the round hole opener. Practically every knife I carry is a Spyderco except for a Benchmade 943 and my old AFCK...and even it has a hole opener. The fact it's such a good company and that they are willing to experiment with new steels and do small sprint runs also contributes to my love for them.

Like so many others, I have walked the same path. Got my first decent knife, a Spyderco Endura in 1992. After that I added a Delica and then went brand hopping. There was a lot of exciting stuff coming out. About 10 years ago i took a good and long hard at my collection and what i really like. Since then I have ONLY bought Spyderco. Sold most of my other stuff, but still have a few fixed blades from SOG and Cold Steel. Spyderco works for me. When i do get down to my local cutlery stores i skip everything else and go straight to where the Spydercos are, is there anything new, something special for me. Later I will look at the other brands, but they just don't hold the same appeal for me anymore.
 
Spyderco and Benchmade are my two main brands ( with a dash of Case). I carry my Spydies a lot because they actually make UK legal one handers ( my FG UKPK, my Squeak, and my Stag Kiwi). I had drifted a way a bit once I got my UK legal bases covered, but that Damascus Caly 3 dragged me back. I love the UKPK design, so getting such a nice locking version of it is a no-brainer for me. That and an Orange UKPK ( damn hard to find nowadays) are the big items on my radar ATM.
 
The UKPK Is A Great Knife Bob, I Agree.
And Andre, I'm In The Same Boat Lol. Nothing But A Very Few Knives Holds Any Interest Other Than Spyderco Anymore.
