I made a fancy sheath for a bushcraft knife

That was my first attempt at making a leather handle and a traditional sheath. I was recently given a Brusletto stick tang blank that will make a great bushcrafter. I'm debating what kind of handle to put on it but I'm leaning towards leather with a liberal dose of superglue. Mac

Maybe wax treat the leather spacers before you stack them? that might make them a little sturdier, if that is what you are going for.

You soak them in superglue and they take on a very hard and weather proof finish. It might be an expensive way to do it. The handle in the above knife was made with epoxy between the disks.

I use epoxy to harden leather often. I have a process that makes the wet formed leather turn out like kydex, yet still look like leather. The key is to not glue the knife into the sheath by accident. Mac
