I need a critique........

great concept. a bit too busy.
simpler-better...(less effect, simpler colour scheme-more of a 2D than 3D...)

I've developed about 15 more images, and I am on overload now. Gonna go see Hitman at the movies and come back to this tonight. Please keep ideas, comments and so on coming.
I'll leave a couple more to keep the ideas coming.

what if you make the back-line thicker, but tapering towards the butt?
that would give to the hog a bit of bulk, graphically balancing the "INFI"-letters.
(this is my job-graph. design-, so I know what kind of feeling reading comments like this...)
I would keep the simpler direction, but more pronounced lines...:thumbup:

You do fantastic work and I certainly appreciate all your designs but I like this one without the green.
On the first one in this post, think about subtle skulls in the smoke.

I like the top picture very much. I think it would make a cool t shirt. I would get rid of the nuclear symbol. I feel it detracts from the imagery. Keep it simple. Your hog with the war boar is brilliant. Excellent stuff

i like this top one for whatever its worth.i like the hog with the INFI legs without the radiation symbol.

but.....they are both so kick ass that i think you need to do both.they're just all to good to only use one.....you are tallented
 
straight honkin bitchin brother, what did you make it in? Photoshop? Lightwave? Maya? or my personal favorite The GIMP?

Thanks for all the input! I am fueled up for many, many more designs. So, in the next few days I will revive this thread with more variations. Maybe we can put some to vote.:thumbup:
I appreciate all the comments as to my talent, Thank You! I am really just trying to get enough imagery together to influence Boss Hog to produce more wearable propaganda. Jerry has been very happy with my work so far, but I hope to see it on more clothing and such someday. So I do need his blessing on anything we actually use.
I use Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop CS3 for these images, and am very grateful for Ken Lunde's assistance in obtaining the programs.
And I know USN has Toxic Green, but not a Nuclear Glow.;):D
 
I like the boar design but the distorted text looks a bit tacky (imho). The text shape also makes the logo resemble the new Chuddy Bear logo a bit too much.

How about something simpler, the same boar but just BUSSE COMBAT written underneath, same font but horizontal. I like the nuclear hazard symbol in the O, but keep it the same size as a regular O so that it doesn't spoil the lines of the text. You can also drop the outline circle on the nuclear symbol, just have the three-bladed design with the dot in the centre.

I like the boar in post #10 with the offset nuclear symbol and the non-glowing boar in post #22.

Have you tried the non-glowing #22 boar with the glowing nuclear symbol instead of the plain yellow?

Looking forward to getting the final as a wallpaper. :thumbup:
 
I think you should replace the War Boar with some variation of the Steel Heart if possible. Perhaps lose the mist and fuzzy lines, and have the logo separate from and under the radioactive symbol.
 
Two cents from Nate,

They are all great.

Now on the first image my opinion is that flames from every surface of the radioactive symbol are overkill. I say to limit them to the outer perimeter and make them bigger, maybe even trail a couple of them out to the edges of the image, hot rod style. Also the HOG and the radioactive symbol would be better suited if they were lined up, both of them centered and the bottoms both at the same level. The nuclear steam coming off of the HOG is a nice touch, but it would look more obvious and cleaner if it originated along it back. The HOG also needs a nose ring, really bad. My opinion on the knives as tusks is that they should originate closer to the snout and come out in front of the face, like the pushbumper on a truck.
 
I really like the design MMIAM. My only issue with it after a quick look is the green border around the text seems to blend in too much with the green in the radioactive symbol. It sort of disappears making it difficult to read IMO. Otherwise it's sweet.

I like that one too -- but I'm pretty challenges aesthetically :foot:
 
Strick with the original colors,move the nuclear symbal just above the Hog's back. You need to match the curves. Great work, Good luck.:thumbup:
