I Need a New Small Folder Like I Need...

Now this is really my last question.
I notice that the Spyderco Wegner's blade is nearly all belly with very little straight to it.
How does this shape work for everyday cutting chores?
Thanks.

Kicks ass! :D The Wegner design is an excellent hunter, utility, defensive knife.

That's agreed. Even the Mouse with that little blade can handle almost any cutting chore. The big Wegner and Jr. are some of the toughest knives ever made!
Cant go wrong with any of the Wegners,
Matt

At least a day short, as I so often seem to be lately.

Can't argue with the choice of a Wegner, in any size. But, wish I'd read this soon enough to suggest the smaller CRKT LUS and the Outdoor Edge Paragee. I have the larger LUS and love it. Never handled the little one, but can only assume it is as well made as the large. Under $30. I really like the little Paragee. Only has AUS8 steel, so might require frequent sharpening -- as would the LUS with AUS6. Still, a very nice small knife that isn't quite as small as it seems. Very slick operation, easy to clean, somewhat recurved blade. $40 or less.
