I need a tc Barlow it's my grail knife

I realize that. Let me clarify - I am not looking for any particular vendor or pricing. Just in general how people come across them. I think that answer has been stated. It sounds like I need to stay up to date with GECs website and dealers. Sorry to get under anyone's skin.

The forum is here to discuss the knives, and the guidelines are pretty specific. That red text in the above post was mine. I know it's a learning process for newer posters in this community, so don't feel singled out. These messages are put in the threads as a reminder to all members.

BladeForums has paid dealer members that are listed here; http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1089879-Paid-Dealer-Members-List. GEC has a website that lists all their dealers. If you look through the GEC threads you'll also see dealers that are active in this forum (names in green). They are more then happy to receive emails, phone calls, smoke signals whatever it takes to make sure you can find what you want.
Also, on any given day you'll find more then one GEC knife come up for sale in the Exchange, http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/f...raditionals-Slipjoints-Old-Timey-style-knives

Thanks! Back to the knives please!

I had multiple TC spear point barlows with long pulls, the initial runs. I had a couple spear point long pulls with soup bone! I had a couple single blade ebony spear point long pulls! I had a two blade spear point with long pulls, with the pen blade on the pile side.

I sold them all! And was paid what I paid for them, nothing more. I could kick myself!

I still have two long pull spear point TCs, one two blade and one single blade.

Great knives, I can't wait until GEC opens the vault and brings them back out.

Barlows rule! Long pull, single or double blade, bone or stag covers, barlows rule! I wonder how Tyler likes his???

I'm sure Tyler is infatuated with it. I would've needed smelling salts to wake back up haha

No kidding! I rekindled my interest in knives upon retirement, stumbled upon this forum, and had my eyes opened to the beauty and depth of traditional offerings. Chief among them are the TC barlows that grace these pages. I keep telling myself patience, someday they'll return...🙂

Sounds like you had some real beauts there. Long pull spear point blades have a very special symmetry IMO.

I can only hope it down to 8'degree got work outside it a real test as the knife is easy to open with a single glove

Very generous Revmic  You've done well Tyler, when I was a lad, if I'd used the phrase 'I need...' in relation to a luxury item, I suspect I might not have sat down for a week! Nice to see the fabled Barlow at last
