I am good friends with a owner of a skate shop here in town. he also does stickers. he can do like whole car or truck graphic wraps to. I have been wanting to do somthing on the side of my mini copper to addvertise my web site. so it will have www.JTcustomKnives.com on it in cool graphics. but i want or feel i need to put somthing else above it to kinda describe what i do. Like, BladeSmith or Hand Made. somthing along thoes lines but i need help coming up with a cool short catch phrise. Thanks a huge bunch

O i forgot to mention that his machine cuts out the vinal letters as well as can print on them. so it will look real sweet and not like a stuck on magnet. he can do anything that can be drawn in photo shop.

"We Make 'Em, You Stab 'Em"

"Craftsmanship, a cut above the rest"

"So Sharp You'll be Scared" or scarred.

"You don't really want to hunt with a $10.00 knife, do you?"

:)

If you need help with the actual design, I'm a professional graphic designer and might be interested in a trade.

Just a thought, no obligation.

You guys PLEASE let someone else proofread before you have them made!
;^)

my custom knives can beat up your wal mart knives...

Production can never beat hand made...

(pic of cheap knife) "That aint a knife... This is a Knife!" (Pic of 2nd Amendment model.)

"Life's to short to carry an ugly knife." Teddy Roosevelt

How about:

"Live on the edge with a handmade blade from...
www.JTcustomknives.com"

The vinyl graphic could use an outline of your 2nd amendment model to highlight your web address.

Seems like your URL says it all. Just do it beautifully and legibly and you should be good to go. Most folks would be doing good to read that and get it written down.

here is somthing i have been working on.

That font doesn't work too well , while fancy is cool , it should be easily readable from a distance.

The lowercase c in custom , doesn't match with the capital K in knives. Also it looks like you need more space between custom and knives , kind of looks like it says

I agree, no one would decipher that easily.

Make the main lettering smaller
Use a clearer font. It will usually be seen moving and at a distance, so simpler is better.
Separate "JT Custom Knives" to make it clearer what it is you do.
Put ,in a simple font like Time New Roman, "JTcustomknives.com" on the lower door panel ( where the .com is now) perhaps in a light blue color.

Regardless of how elaborate the art work or how cute catch line is, it is the quick recognition and memorization of the web address that matters.

While I know the word "Bladesmith" gets argued a lot, ignoring semantics, your main selling item is your 2nd amendment knife, which is not forged. You are fairly new to the smithing end of this, and I think the term " Custom Knife Maker" or "Hand Made Knives" would convey your advertizing message more clearly to the public anyway.

BTW, if you get a chance to send back those DVD's, I need them.

Keep it Simple, to much stuff and writing, people tend to ignore it.

There is a wrap on a truck here inTulsa advertizing somebodys BBQ.
The whole truck is flamed and lettering similar to the shot of the mini cooper.
I've seen it a dozen times, and have yet to figure out the name of the BBQ place
