Dear CRK Brothers and Sisters,

I feel like I need to make a confession tonight. This may be upsetting to hear and could quite possibly cause some weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. Before I proceed to put myself out there--consider this as a fair warning that this may not be for the faint of heart, weak of knees, or lowly in spirit. I have tried to overcome this "affliction" multiple times and have put forth a good, solid, concerted effort to try and avert having to do this...

I do not love the Mnandi.

There. I said it. It is part of cyberspace. It is out in the universe. You heard, they heard it, we all heard it. You can Love me for being honest, hate me for being truthful, or form an ambivalent opinion, or simply don't care at all. It is what it is and I have said what I came here to say.

I have 1, it's my "wedding or funeral" knife. Took it to a wedding last weekend, and used it to help a friend cut the tag off the sleeve of his brand new suit jacket at his mother in law's viewing a couple months ago. Other than that, it sits in the drawer.
I feel like it should be a $250 knife...

I'm in love with Sebenza. Mnandi and I are just friends.

Same here, for the most part. I have a wierd love/apathy relationship with it. So many beauties out there with wood grains that could make me drool, and I just look at and leave. Then a special one comes along, or I have a chance to get something as unique as matched pair of Honduran Rosewoods. The lefty and a righty.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that!!!!! There are many knives that people are gaga over that I have no affection for. You're normal!!!! Since you've come clean I will too. I think the inlays on the Sebenzas look ridiculous. Like wood panels on a Porsche...

I must be dreaming!i thought everyone loved the mnandi! But why are they selling like hot cakes.... I better go back to bed,and wake up again.

So, what happened? You seemed to be in love back in 2011 .... or maybe it was just infatuation. Did the Mnandi step out and cheat on you with some lower form of knife? And here I find myself in almost the opposite situation. I find myself becoming more and more in love with the Mandi and other smaller folders, and less enthusiastic about my large Sebbies and larger folders! Problem is .... when I look at my large Sebenzas and ask myself which I should sell off to fund other Mnandis ..... I can't seem to force myself to part with any of them!
