I Need Your Help Fellow Forumites In Designing A New "Mega" Folder!

Everyone has offered good ideas for most of the specs on the knife.

The only thing I would add would be that it would be nice to have some options on the material used for the scales. G-10 and textured micarta are both obviously great for heavy use knives. It would be nice if something like the stabilized spalted maple Gene uses on his fixed blades were available as well, just to provide a nice looking alternative.

I've been using a skinner with walnut handles for years and it still looks presentable. I've had the chance to expose Gene's maple to a month's worth of use and I haven't had any complaints about it yet.

I would have to say the Neil Blackwood Skirmish is one of the best looking mega folders I would buy. Those are some beautiful knives. Anything in that neighborhood would be nice probably.

Mike
